That’s like the most important part of the video, how could you not mention the sopranos
The “sad” part about sonic.EXE is how the creators of the game ruined it. Even if it’s terrible, it had impact, but the creator added awful voice acting and other dumb stuff and it lost all of the little effect it had.
That led to a fanbase that made tons of games about it, with different stories and various other things; a few of the more prominent ones do it in a bid to get Sonic.exe taken seriously again. There's a surprising amount of passion hidden in there...

Hey that sounds like an interesting plot for a Toy Story Short, Woody's Head Falls off, and woody's body gets lost all the toys start looking for his body, but eventually they get scared by woody's head waking up and speaking to them, woody's head tells them that he can guide them to the rest of his body, but it will be a long journey, because his body ran away very fast, then the adventure starts.
That does sound pretty cool though

Man, there was a time in grade school where I was actually scared of creepypastas like Slederman, Jeff the killer, the Rake, Smile dog, and Ben Drowned, but then I met a couple of girls who fucking shipped them and it made me realize how absolutely garbage everything was. As soon as I saw an image of Slenderman and Jeff making out, all the horror just disappeared.
15:55 Fun fact: Undertale, Hotline Miami, and many other really successful games were made with game maker. I myself use game maker for game development and I disagree that it's "trash". It has a lot of positives going for it (and negatives too). However, if you had a negative experience with it, I can't take that away from you. Just here to say that depending on the kind of game you want to make, Game Maker actually is a really strong choice and I don't think people should be deterred from trying it out (especially if they're new to game development).
IMSCARED and the original Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion were also made with Gamemaker. Scary games are possible in Gamemaker it's just that these people have limited game dev experience and don't fully understand how to make a good game yet

I remember reading Sonic.Exe and thinking it was painfully stupid and got alot of undeserved praise.
The already painful Sonic Deviant Art scene went insane over this, happy people are finally wising up to how terrible it is.

I swear to god, I wish there was a way to filter all of that garbage. Taints your memories and impressions of everything when you can't go looking up Sonic-related media anywhere without usually encountering the terrible .EXE edit of the character at least once. Perhaps it's not that it's unusually disturbing, but because the results are so in-your-face with an in-your-face design. I think I'll need therapy with a healthy dose of maximum extermination for the avatar of this creepypasta after all the encounters I've had to sift through looking for reference images of other media.
There's actually a creepypasta about animal crossing wild world which is actually brilliant. Here's why:
1. The whole story takes place within the game. No more of that haunted copy nonsense.
2. This story is actually engaging and makes you eager to find out what happens next, not to mention the incredible plot twists.
3. It adds unique twists to pre- existing characters while introducing new ones.
4. It uses in- game features like Gyroids and balloon gifts as actual plot points.
5. the violence doesn't feel forced and actually manages to be somewhat terrifying.
6. It has actual visuals, in- game footage, about 15 chapters, 2 separate endings and a fully animated final battle.
I unfortunately forgot the name, but I'm pretty sure typing in animal crossing wild world creepypasta should do the trick. It is honestly among the best fanfictions i ever read and probably the most underrated creepypasta out there. I 100% recommend it, it is absolutely incredible. also I think this might be the 1000th comment on this video so holy shit that's probably the most impressing thing I will ever achieve.
The terrible secret of animal crossing is what is was called. I remember reading it when I was like 9 or 10 or something, and it was actually really good. It wasn't scary really, but I remember it being really sad.

The one thing about these CreepyPasta games that really drop their creepy factor is whenever they call themselves "God". Like, BRUH, that just went from being kinda creepy to edgy so fast. It sounds so fucking stupid and basically makes all of it a joke. Edgelord stuff like that in CreepyPastas makes them retroactively less creepy.
Can’t draw EXE in any way that isn’t cute, so when I draw him it’s just some sonic clone with bloody eyes and random texts saying “I am god” even though he’s probably weaker than I am.

That edgelord factor is what ruins every creepypasta’s potential scariness. Everything feels so try-hard, like when they describe a scary-looking face in way too much detail. Doubt and ambiguity makes for much scarier storytelling. It’s why Jaws is scary despite only showing the shark at the end.

The ones with blood, gore, scary images and a grainy filter to the point of ridiculousness aren't scary to me. But any game creepypastas with glitches, the blank eyes cliche, missing chunks and distorted glitched out music are more scarier in my opinion. Steven Universe even made an episode where Steven enters a room that belonged to his mom, only to enter a nightmare version of Beach City.

One day I went out yo my mailbox and found a cd case with a disc in it. On the front it was titled “Call of duty Haunted Blood Edition” and there was a note on the back saying “Please Dear Sir or Madam would you be do kind as to destroy the disc contained within this package. You see it has a rather nasty curse upon it, which has befallen upon me. If you endeavor to play it, it will most certainly curse you as well.”
I thought this was strange and wondered why in the hell it was in my mailbox. So I took the game from the case and broke it in half and tossed it in the refuse bin. Life went on as normal.

Legitimately the best creepypasta was the NES Godzilla one. It was interesting, sometimes funny, and progressively got creepier without using, "oh no Godzilla is red now." Although some parts near the end do get a little cheesy.

I’m glad I decided to watch a video about creepypastas late at night and get super paranoid about my surroundings every second
It was a cold Saturday, when I went to. A garage sale. There I bought a copy of Pokemon White, except it was called Pokemon Blood White. I turned on the game, thinking it was a joke, but my character had no eyes and all my Pokemon were dead!
To be fair, "I Hate You" is meant to be a parody of bad video game creepypastas. A lot of people think that's just an excuse the author, Slimebeast, made after the story was called out for not being good, but if you compare it to another parody Slimebeast wrote, "Mario is a Monster", you can see a lot of similarities between the two, which I think makes the intent pretty obvious

Pokemon Strangled Red is in my opinion, the right way to create a creepypasta in a videogame world. 1. There's no pointless gore, or things coming into the real world to kill someone. 2. The author knows that it's a hack, unlike other people who say all the weird stuff is just a glitch. 3. If you read it, it actually seems like it could take place as an old legend within the pokemon world, what with all the weird stuff that does happen in pokemon lore. I found it very well written, besides a couple of grammar errors.
