I think this piece sounds like Beethoven would live longer about 88 years old to compose a concerto.
I love it so much, as though I am hearing it for the very 1st time.It is as though it's perfect to ones ears, & really it is hard to describe its beauty & majesty.I could listen all day, because it's depth is so tingling as well as touching & yet, so gentle to one's soul.

Why does the dotted feel when the piano starts in the beginning, where the notation actually reads simple 16th notes?

The entrance of the piano in the first movement? Sounds like even eighths to me. He plays the offbeats slightly softer, but the accents don't sound agogic to me.
