I have a 93 SPI but converted to carb. I hated all the extra wires in the engine bay so i bought a new non injected harness , just had to add a relay for the fuel pump and one for the horn as the new harness did not have them. then leave old rear harness and adapt it or get a new rear harness for non injected but then you need to run wire for fuel pump and washer bottle.

Hi Mark - can see the jig and mk3 floor in the video, have you decided to patch up rather than replace. You may recall that I’m in a similar position with my mk3 S - when you are done with the body jig please let me know if you would consider either selling or hiring it to me.. regards Simon
