  • A quick video showing the process of converting my Girlfriend’s 1980 classic mini from carburettor to fuel injection.
The mini started out with its original 998cc with HS4 carburettor. It was then transplanted to a 1275cc engine from a 1996 MPI model with a custom fabricated injection system using a Maxx ECU.
Thank you so much to Kevin at www.classicfuelinjection.co.uk for all his helpful advice during the build.
Thanks also to Gordan at www.streetracersgd.com for tuning such a custom setup when no one else would.

Hey, great work, I love what you've done to the mini, I'm thinking about converting my Morris Minor to injection. Where did you get the throttle body from? Thanks

I’m thinking about doing a similar conversion to my 1995 SPI Cooper. The SPI parts are difficult/expensive to come by so something more modern and accessible for tuning is the way forward. Have you got a list of parts you used for this somewhere?
