This is probably the best I've heard JF sing this song. Plus watching Chad in the background intentionally making people clap off-beat is hilarious. Fantastic all around! I also love the one where he actually screws up some cords and has to re-start on a pre-chorus. The imperfection is what makes that version great. This one is perfect in a different way.

After watching that clip a BUTT load of times and reading a ton of comments I feel like there was a chance that he intentionally fucked up because chad started drumming and anthony began singing. For some reason it seemed like he was trying to get them to stop and if you listen to it real close, it sounds like he said "shut....." when he fucked up almost like he was telling them to shut up maybe because tt was also his first time performing that piece live.
When he fucks up in that one, he comes back in and sounds better than any other performance I’ve seen on here. Pretty funny.
I love his timid "thank you" at the very end. What a humble, talented musician.

My favourite living artist... I have difficulty in liking his experiences with electronica and also the latest RHCP albums, so I have the solution.... Iron Maiden have 3 guitar players, so why can't RHCP have Klinghoffer and Frusciante at the same time? It would be amazing for everybody....this guy glows on stage, it's where he belongs. I deeply love his story and his playing.
Still, his solo career is awesome. The Empyrean, Shadows Collide with people, Curtains, are so great. John is a monument for music.

Luís Maciel I'm obsessed with frusciante as he's my favorite living artist but sometimes I just get on my knees and pray to the good lord for frusciante to come back and keep josh around as a solo guitarist kinda like a walsh/felder dynamic
iirc John and Josh performed together for a few shows towards the end of the Stadium Arcadium tour. It's because of this that John chose Josh to be his successor because they were already familiar with one another.

John is established as one of the best guitarists ever, by multiple sources. Ringo is known as 'one of the best drummers ever' because he was in the beatles, not because he actually did anything too impressive on any front.
