Blake and Neil have elevated this channel to something it never was before. Martyn, Doddy, and Henry make it the perfect combination. Much respect to all of you guys. The videos inspire more than ever, they show us detail we've never seen, and in the event of failure, we can plainly see the risk. No other channel like GMBN! Keep up the good work!
Hahaha, there really isn't. For me it's just, "negating problems". Also cost. Owned 2 full suspension, one the rear shock broke after awhile, the other the frame broke in half. So I basically said, "keep it simple stupid". They are nice when they're working, but trusting things to work is like multiplying by zero.
@ Hobart, Love geese brakes & the whistle nuts on the whistle. 2 favorite sounds. No whistle nuts out there today. Should be out there directing traffic 😚😀
Blake got balls of steel and is a constant reminder that skill is much more important than your equipment. Can't wait to see more badass hardtail riding from this madman.
I bet you that there are people watching this thinking “I’m just gonna send it and go full speed down this” Well it’s not that easy. It’s so slippery and I can guarantee you that you will be sliding down the hill on your ass at the same speed as all the other riders. Blake showed so much courage and determination to do this on a hardtail, let alone do it!
I was decided to buy a full suspension next year, but when I see this kind of videos, improvements for my hardtail come to mind instead. I love this channel! I've learned so much from these guys. Greetings from Guatemala.
You're like a hero to me, I started mtb dh now, at 45 years old trying to get better from depression and obesity, because it's not like people don't want a full suspension, some like me can't afford to buy a full, I barely i managed to buy all the protections, so much so that the second time on december 5th i fell and broke 2 ribs, but i will try to go with my gt agressor sport as far as i can, thank you for these animate videos continue
Watching this a second time just now. It must be one of my favorite GMBN videos ever. Just love watching Blake. He is funny like big child, such a nice guy and a real machine when push comes to shove. No offense to any other presenter - love you too. 😁👍
Love how you just bump into a fan and make it a good time. Same at the finish. Great video of the event and the preparation for it. Next year Blake vs. Neil and Doddy. And Martyn on the tandem.
Blake rides a Hardtail for the Mega Avalanche. He also raced a Hardtail at the Sea Otter Classic Downhill Race. I have always enjoyed just showing up to various Motorcycle Races to see where I stand. Blake you have motivated me to Race again!!!! Racing is where it is at, so much fun. Life is better when we race, from the prep, to the training, and the beers afterwards. All Fun!!! The only thing that is NOT fun about Racing is the Race itself, so grueling, stressful, and tiring. LOL hahahaahhah.
Second time I watched this video, Blake those legs musta felt like torches and rubber bands. You got some blazing spirit and heart dude. Good on you mate.
It’s so impressive Blake!! You’re such a master at your craft, it gave me goose bump watching you nail that epic race on a Hard tail! Massive respect to you man, you’re so inspiring!!! 👍🏽🤘🏽👊🏽🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽🏆
Geat video, watched the run vid too. But doesn’t the comp 2019 come with 140mm travel, Blake said that the 170mm travel lyrik has 10mm more than the standard on the comp comes with.
Dude Blake, the amount of hardtail love you've shown was a big factor in me getting a hardtail as my new quiver of one bike! Just got and built up a Chromag Rootdown, and I'm so stoked to get to shred it!
I just saw the “how hard can you push a hardtail” video, and Blake said: “Maybe we should do it on the mega avalanche, leave it in the comments” and then he actually did it!!
Seriously I never thought you could do it on a hard tail. That trail and distance with all kinds of riding on the books, I wont even make 25% of it. Respect!
@@DavidGamero I had a Stanton switchback all steel frame, beautiful to ride fully ridged single speed. I hit a van with it and wrote it off and knocked a couple of teeth out in the process..
Blake is one hell of a rider , qualified on a hardtail!! I love watching GMBN and Sam Pilgrim, but truthfully Blake is my favourite to see. GCN is really good to. I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for GCN and GMBN , every single person that helps make these videos possible for us , you are always in my heart and welcome to my day
Blake, major kudos to you dude! Unbelievalbly hard! Love that you are game and want to challenge yourself on a hardtail. You have every right to cry after that effort. You make this channel soooo much fun to watch!
I always thought I should switch to full suspension, getting back to these videos to prove myself I don't to. Great stuff, makes you like the hard tail even more and just get out there
Just beautiful! Been few weeks since i bought my first hardtail and whole new world has opened for me to see.and experience. Im 37 and i have my limits but this channel has been really helpful. Blake you are awesome!
i know i could never do this as i am a novice rider but the whole experience just looks wicked fun much respect to these guys keep up the amazing channel.
Massive respect to you Blake. This makes me love my hardtail even more 🤘🏿
I whole heartily agree with you here. Much inspiration and motivation HT'S 4 LIFE.
i love my dual suspension - but i first mtb was a hardtail and it was awesome - theyre great
why lol
Hell yeah this fires my hardtail fetish too 🤓
Same here
Next year Blake will do megavalanche on his fixie 😂
No, Nukeproof Digger.

GMBN..Respect 🤘

Yep, my favourite channel! They do a great job of catering to all skill levels and all riding types.
Yes! I think the channel has also pushed them to another level. I mean look at what Blake is doing. He knows it’s wild.
And they can have a laugh instead of being moody 🤟💪
There's something about riding a hardtail.
Hardtails for life!

It’s nice in really flowy, and grippy trails.
@Manu you gotta Huffy
Hardtail, too. Everybody got one of them. he haw
Blake 2020: Last year I experienced arm pump so I'm taking my unicycle.
9:00 the guy on the left :“ was this dude on a hardtail?“
No. He was on a bmx
Haha
Well spotted dude 👍

16:34 cool that you found two other mental blokes who ride this insane course on a Hardtail😂 Much love to all my fellow Hardtail riders ❤️

Absolute legend 👍🏼 "How're you feeling?" "Death" - love it
Simply, a massive effort Blake, thanks for representing all of us hardcore hardtail riders out there
And the two other riders that used their Hts as well!
Wow blake thank you for cleaning the gopro midrun
It was such a good race so glad I managed to take part in the main race. Counted on my GoPro and I passed 34 riders on the big nasty climb 🔥🔥

I've ridden on snow with a bike, it's slippery but it's fun either way. Hardtails also make technical downhill trails a lot funner.
Blake is my favorite to watch. He's just naturally goofy and funny!
They should start handing out neon sets of *"HARDTAIL HORNS"* along with your number plate, to be attached to the true warriors' helmets! 🔥🤘🏻🔥
Blake, you are BREATHTAKING!
I understood that reference :p Nice one!
Blake and Deakes are both legends. Loved seeing the two of them share some screen time.
