- Story of the hunt: Got in the stand late after work. Had a young doe and a nice young 7 point work out under me. Then a doe and a yearling showed up down the pine flat from the other deer. As soon as the young buck spotted the doe he immediately gave her his undivided attention, leading to him chasing her into the thicket after chasing her all around me and lip curling!!!

Also in CFL, it's nice to see that people still see deer in wmas. I got my first buck on dec31 2023 after a season and a half of not seeing anything worth shooting.

Ours in sw Florida usually rut the first week of August. I'll be in a tree with my bow in less than 2 weeks!

Up here in NE Florida, Iâve seen bucks chasing does anywhere from September to December. But, mostly early November. Itâs crazy down here in Florida! Subscribed!
