    Swamp N Stomp is a channel or vlog, whatever you want to call it, dedicated to helping the hunting community grow, specifically in Florida. Studies show that the majority of modern hunters had family members who raised them as hunters, and a large portion of non-hunters want to hunt but don't know where to start. By documenting our hunting adventures, making instructional or tutorial videos, and really anything-hunting-related videos, we hope to help bridge that gap by providing practical information for beginner and experienced hunters on how to become a better and more ethical hunter. Click that subscribe button and join us for the ride! Thanks for watching!

    So much different then hunting up north. People don’t understand how much work and effort is put into harvesting an animal in the Florida swamp let alone in public WMA areas.

    Hey Mark,
    Have you heard of any new ebike rules for this season?

      Ebike rules are a joke! The tree huggers should have been run out of the FWC committee meetings for this BS!

    How often do you find deer scat and how much does that play into your scouting? I rarely find it here in FL.. In Pennsylvania would find deer scat all the time. I wonder if it just degrades much faster because of warm wet conditions.

      Take a crap in the woods and stand there for a few minutes, I garantie there will be dung beetles swarming it in no time. So yea it gets broken down faster for sure. But you do find it but not as much as up north. Keep in mind there’s a lot less deer here so it also kinda makes sense. When I find it, I do factor it into my approach but it’s not like a holy grail thing. If it’s still fresh it’s definitely a good indicator of deer being around. -Mark

    How many times do you go out and scout leading up to the hunt? Also do you scout months or weeks or both ahead of the hunt? Thanks in advance!

    • @SwampNStomp
      @SwampNStomp  Před měsícem +1

      Sometimes I scout one time and find exactly what I’m looking for, put a camera on it and there’s tons of deer and then I’ll stay out of there until the hunt. Sometimes u have to keep searching. But I rarely go back to the same area when scouting. One look is usually all I need, but that’s also because I know what I’m looking for. In the beginning u may need more time in an area to figure it out. -Mark
