Finally, a stand for G4 55' and 65'. Might consider buying it in 6 months when prices drop by 40% 😂
same i always wait too :D
Not that impressed at all! Now the C series might as well be the B series
C still has much better panel and chipset also is better.
Facts. This is like when Apple downgraded their base iPhone back down to a 1080p screen so that they could sell more of their pro versions. I seriously doubt that after multiple years of having MLA by this point, they just couldn't find the logistical power to apply it to the C series. This is purely done for marketing to get people to spend more money on their premium line. Samsung is guilty of doing the same with galaxy phones, but I have yet to see them do it with their TV's.
LG never seems to gives good reasons to jump from C to C unfortunately you need to go to a higher bracket if you want an LG upgrade. So people with C9 or CX looking to upgrade should look to the S90D this year or A80M depending on what Sony adds if they do add anything at all.
What’s the difference between the C3 vs the G3? Is it just brightness.
U dont skip numbers. Its the a10
I have the CX and I’m upgrading to the G4. The upgrades are compelling to me. Sad the C series doesn’t get decent upgrades anymore.
Hallo,from Germania ! A must Have ! I'm Too CX 77,than G4 😂
I love my CX! I'm keeping my CX for the living room and looking to get the 83" G4 for the basement where we watch our movies 😁
I own both an LG OLED 65B7P and an 77"cx 😂 my 65B7P is on its second screen due to burn in from CNBC. Unfortunately, the second screen which fortunately LG replaced for free under warranty, has become burned in again and out of warranty. I'm debating between the Sony A95L, LG G3, or the LG G4 or Sony newest high-end oled for 2024. I'm just concerned about burn in, and I also have to play a Sony Playstation 5.
Is there a headphone 🎧 jack output on LGG4?
My setup needs that as i have an orbit soundbar and amplifier which work with a 3-1 splitter perfectly.
I tried HDMI but it echoes inconsistent sounds on simultaneous output!
Can't wait for CES!
Shall i buy c3 as its very cheap now or wait for c4 for gaming? As brightness is rhe key if i am correct. But i have abit dark room theme.
Should I get a c3 now for 924$ or wait for c4?
Great video kg
Have they upgraded the ethernet port?
Problem with all these TV's is they still only have 100Mbps ethernet port, Should be 1000Mbps by now.
I watch TV on a 22 year old LG 40" flourescent tube back lit 2K 60Hz display. Looks OK to me. Do
you think I would notice much improvement in picture quality with the newest models? Just how good can Judge Judy look?
My grandmother, God rest her soul, used to listen to her radio progrems every Sunday afternoon….
Oh huge difference!!
I have a 42inch c3 i can still return... I see all these new oled monitors coming out and I was considering switching to them but I've decided I really like the 42 inch size. Unfortunately the c4 seemingly won't have MLA or 240hz, like the monitors coming out do.
So I guess c3 it is :)
I had the C3 at my house when it came out. I took it back and said “I’ll wait for the C4 and hope it gets MLA. Well so much for that idea… lol
😂🎉😊
Would it be better to wait for the G4 series?
Lg processing was amazing going toe to toe with Sony and surpassing in certain areas! All of the A.i talk is marketing we’ve seen it before!
ai talk might not be all marketing. ai is the next direction a lot of tech is going towards, not only in tvs but computers, phones, processors etc.
What’s the difference between the C3 vs the G3? Is it just brightness.
For the most part, yes.
Great information!!!!!
Hi LJ tv 8k recver to tv dvbs2 or dvbs2x?
I have the C9. I'm still loving it!
Thanks for sharing
Was hoping MLA would trickle down to the C4 series. Even the older MLA panels would be an improvement.
It's frustrating as MLA and 240hz is now on all the new LG oled gaming / computer monitors coming out soon.
The C4 have MLA too.

Should have did more for the C series. 😂😂 What a shame😂😂
I got a 77inch C2. Paid 2800 for it. When I can get a 77 or a 83 inch at a good price I may think about it....
Whats you opinion ? Wait for the c4 or buy the c3 ?

Personally I wouldn’t buy either id say go S90C or A80L. Only LG OLED worth considering is the G series imo. C series hasn’t advanced much in years.
@@TechWithKG thx
The only problem i have i cant go bigger then 50inch. G3 is 55 the others to..
@techwithkg do I get S90C or G3? It’s $1,000 price difference worth to get the G3?
Depends how picky you are. If you always buy the best, then the G3 is considered better overall. If you want the best Oled value for the money then the S90c is the one.
You should probably compare the S95C with the G3 at that point instead of the S90C. The S95C doesnt beat out the S90C in all aspects, but it does in most it seems. Of course the price is much higher than the S90C. I am curious how the G3 with MLA stacks up against the S90C/S95C, but based on the research I've done on the S90C/S95C, I'd be willing to bet that the S90C or the S95C would be neck and neck in numerous aspects. I dont think you'd be disappointed with either the Samsung or LG G series. Samsung is probably still brighter.
@@anony88 People complain of dropouts with the S95c so it's impossible to recommend.
The S90C in 77' has a 2nd gen QD-OLED panel, you get all the advantages vs W-OLED technology without the S95C's problems (dropouts, lower HDMI bandwidth). I come from an LG OLED and was initially thinking of buying the G3, but after much consideration I bought a 77' S90C and couldn't be happier. I use it with my PC at 4K144Hz 16h every day. I would never buy a W-OLED again, it's older technology IMHO. You have to see QD-OLEDs colors in person to get it.
If you’re a gamer I’d save and get the S90C don’t look back. If your just looking for the brightest OLED but you’re not gaming G3 is hard to match for it’s price.
great pod
Hopefully the a11 processor is less aggressive with asbl
The C series should’ve gotten the heatsink by now that’s my disappointment with LG.
LG are budget brand
Remember the days when you had the same tech on all the lg range you just paid for the build of the tv it’s self
KG: Try to get us thr answer for this question from the reps at LG at CES:
if this LG alpha gen 11 meta booster max MLA 2.0 will work in game mode?
New processor strong enough to compute the processing legwork of META while keeping input lag low enough that it can work in game mode?
I never liked the workout around solution of FMM instead of game optimizer, and losing hgig, with a ALLM device.
They should serve us right by having this actually work in game mode, also is smooth gradation finally going to work in game mode???
Alpha gen question: As data is processed it moves through different components and those components introduce delay. Something you definitely don’t want while gaming. This is why QDOLED is superior, the QD panel is naturally capable of producing a better picture without processing delay. Latency numbers on Samsung are better than LGs and look better making them better gaming TVs.
A few years ago I bought the CX which was like the best oled tv of the year at the time.
I wonder what would happen if you put an mla panel on a qd-oled.
Useless because of how qd-oled is made… there is less light scattering in qd-oled so MLA light control does not affect.
I bought G3 83” but just returned it for full refund at BB. I saw the C3 with MLA and always thought… why wouldn’t an expensive 83” tv not have MLA. Well now that it is going to be on G4, going to get it once it comes out. Can’t wait.
C3 with MLA?
I would love to see how that 83” g3 actually compares to the c3.
I'm contemplating getting a G3 now or wait for the 83" G4
@@steeveabitbol2466 honestly, I don’t like the way the screens look on QDOLED or the MLA ones, unless your in a room with absolutely no light, it’s fine. The way they handle reflection sucks to me. The G3 at least appeared to have elevated blacks and a rainbowish look going on.
So my vote would be the 83” G3 since it didn’t have the MLA but I know I’d be in the minority with that opinion
LG lost me over the last couple years by constantly nerfing the C series.

G3 G3😂❤
I literally jst purchased a Sony A95l after a decade of watching on an RCA 42” lcd. Wondering if I should return the Sony and wait for the LG G4 🤔
Don't, will be the best for quite some time.
I bought a g3 two months go. I should’ve waited!! Still a great tv though!
Why 😮 ??
I would have no problem buying a G4 TV. The only issue is that the G series doesn't come in sizes smaller than 55". My space is very limited, I can only fit a 42 or 48" size 42" is better and I'm also planning on using it as a PC monitor. Which means I'm stuck with the C series or getting one of the 32" monitors later this year. Why can't these TV's brands release their higher end models in smaller sizes. We know they can do it. since they're releasing 32" monitors with similar features. I'm so sick of this.
I think LG is still over correcting from the C2/G2. Whereas the C2 was close enough in performance, that the price premium wasn’t justified for the G2. Wonder what the sales figure looked like. Since you can still find G2s in certain sizes.
The G series is officially the real C series. They aren't giving people a solid reason to get a C4 over a C3.
New monitors are only 32” I’m hoping for 42” 240hz 4K lg.
Must be great being a company that does not want to sell many TVs. Nice work LG! 😁
I fail to see why LG sells more TVs slightly then Sony and way more OLED TVs despite their OLED TVs lose to Sony.
Sony is really pricy @@RobertK1993
If you get the choice of having a table top stand or wall mount for the G series is welcome not only one wants or can to wall mount there tv

R.I.P. LG C-SERIES
Be prepared to receive LG fanboy hate. I feel like some people in the comments are akin to iPhone fans where they buy a new iPhone literally every year, only with LG instead. Sometimes you can show someone who favors a certain brand that their favorite piece of technology is beat in every category and it will still be their favorite technology, regardless of what the tests show. I'm not knocking LG. They're great TV's. Just taking about how ridiculous people can be.
c4 in 48 and 42 inches are to have a 120hz matrix without 144hz refreshment
Apparently it’s having a 40-144hz FreeSync range for 48 and 42. By that it should be 144. Only the B series is 120hz for 48 (no 42 b series)
C4 sounds disappointing, has to get substantial price reduction
@@Manuel.MedellinQuantum TV?
You mean the good for nothing guy that sunked himself so low with threatening The Act Man, then ranting on a game that he never actually played in the first place, and scams people with his piss poor TV picture settings that makes the Vivid setting look brilliant. That Quantum TV?
A lot of people will say , wow that ai upscaling looks so good, experiencing a Nvidia shield I can say that ai upscaling can do things that other TVs can’t and add back in clarity that is un matchable and has no right to be. But some will say , no it looks un-canny , both answers in my opinion are correct which is the crux of AI at the moment. If you like it, you like it!
I personally don’t like the MLA look so I’m glad it’s not on the C series & glad I got the G2 when I did.
Reason being, I’m used to the way the black screen is supposed to look like, the MLA makes it look slightly grey I think from what I heard it’s from how it reflects light. Also it looks like a rainbow trout kinda finish. If your 100% only watching in a room with 0 ambient light then sure but I for one wouldn’t be so, pass.
Just let you know the C4 83” have MLA too.
I think you got your info mixed 83" will not be MLA for C4

@@MelancholicAwesomnes WHY
That's a good point!
@@etinosaoyemwense Back them LG was confident in it's product. Sony is still confident in people buying their products which is why the A80 and a90/95 series get the same processor. Because they are confident that there premium flagship model is worth while.
I’m still idling with my 77” A80CJ. It’s a stellar set but I’m ready for a larger screen. I don’t know if to pounce on the 85” X95L mini led or wait for an 83” QD-OLED from Sony.
KG, stay healthy this 2024, brotha
The C series has always had the same processor as the G series, but NOT this year. The G series has always been brighter too. Not really much of a difference in the last couple of years except for price. The new more powerful A11 processor, much better sound, and MLA technology makes the G4 FAR superior over the C4. The G4 is going to be the TV of the year while the C4 again has such tiny improvements, But is still a very good TV. I've got the 65" C3 and absolutely LOVE it and the price of $1,500.00 too!!!!!
The Samsung S90D will probably be a big rival to the LG C4, and if the Samsung price is even lower than the LG D4, then the LG D4 will have quite a problem in TV sales. Samsung will definitely have a better picture and also with a higher brightness and then, to be even lower in price, then LG will be......?
I’m so glad I waited and didn’t get the Sony X95L. I currently have the G2 and will probably get the 83” G4 although I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself since I haven’t heard any other announcements yet and I’m glad that LG is finally making some very clear distinctions between the C & G series as it should be. I’m impressed with what LG is doing in 2024. Hopefully the rest of the announcements are just as good.
The idea of a 83” G4 sounds incredible if they have made improvements to game mode picture quality with these changes.
@@TechWithKG +audio improvements too
What do you do with the 83" G2? Do you mainly watch sports on it?
@@Trust_but_Verify my current G2 is the 77” and usually game on it but I do watch movies, tv & some sports on it as well. It’s been a good tv but my daily user is a Samsung QN90B at the moment.
I have a 2022 sony xr-55a95k, and it is a superior tv ,
Processing equals latency. Game mode will again be lackluster
Adding a tiny bit of latency in a TV won’t be the end of the world look at Sony they have almost double the latency but it has no real noticeable impact, I hope LG goes down this route and if they wanted they could simply just use “boost mode” toggle to disable the extra processing.
@@TechWithKG Sony adds processing to make up for the lack of performance. Adding processing to QDOLED gives you great PC. For the fast paced gaming I enjoy latency is not an option. I am happy with my S95C and it clearly gives me an advantage over a lot of others. I also have a G2 which is phenomenal at gaming but the S95C looks incredible while giving you the edge.
Lg should simple give the c4 mini MLA 😉 with MLA colour and MLA brightness on and off and 8gb intermal storge and added lg download brower with apk and still use they lg apps store.
To me WOLED needs to get a whole lot brighter and catch up to the color volume of QDOLED or way cheaper. While they have nothing like BFI or 240hz to differentiate themselves from Samsung their panels just lose.
I think they should cut the price for C series, because sammys s90 is is at the same price and has way better panel imo.
Game mode colors fixed? I don't think so
I am going to A95L for sure this week
I honestly don’t think the C series needs MLA. Based on what I’m seeing on Reddit forums, people still trust the C series over the Samsung S90 series so I think they’re fine. Only us nerds care about that next level tech which is why I’ll probably be buying an 83 inch G4 at the end of the year.
Ive seen literally the opposite on reddit. Ive seen multiple instances of people who said the s90c is better. Ive also seen stop the fomo recommend the s90c numerous times. Especially now that its discounted to $1,300.
C Series will be fine. The general public is happy with the performance of the sets since it's well recognized.
@@anony88 I went with the S90C. It’s the Better tv but I see people who say they just trust LG more

yup, i was thinking to go for a 77 inch QD-OLED but i think the 83 LG with MLA will be better overall. there's no plans for larger qd-oled screens for the moment. Samsung already bought 83 inch WRGB panels from LG
All regular tv's come wall mountable ,so its downright silly to supply the G series without s stand mount.Your flagship TV should perform noticeably better than the ones downstream, so I agree with LG there.
LG could make a strong comeback with this 2024 lineup
Only if their prices match those of Samsung midrange QD OLED
It could also be a visual aspect of the numbers. In marketing they say how you can charge something with a 59 if someone is willing to pay 50 for it. So that means the second number is not as important and if that second number is a zero, then 10 can also be seen as 1.0 and not just in the range of 10-19 for prices. Since we are talking about perceptions of numbers can seem more impactful.
A10 vs a9 vs a11
Also it’s not just a number as well it’s a series as well that they take into consideration and how it’s viewed.
So I think it’s a psychological reason and they did some kind of review and that was the feed back they got. I’m guessing ofc, but if it’s for a personal reason than can make sense of it as well other than it being a big leap.
Unless ofc they do really means it’s that much of a big leap. Than that can also make sense. But that’s never the case with tv manufacturers even with qd oled gen 1 was conveniently just slightly better than the competition and then gen 2 was better ofc but again slightly better than competition.
So it’s seems manufacturers are happy to only slightly one up their competitors without going over board. Unless LG is desperate for market share which seems they are from hearing of losses in their sales of tvs this might mean we will get strong competition from tv manufacturers and AI and upscaling will start to see real improvements unlike what it has been for the last 10 years or more pretty much being the same and just marketing speak to sell tvs.
I think picture processing is about to become more advanced than ever with the newer AI developments being used, can’t wait to see the iterations from Sony and Samsung as well when this happens.
ça fait 2 mois que j'acheté oled LG , plusieurs problèmes, et touts les problèmes n'est pas régler avec service client, n'acheté jamais le marque LG, c'est la merde (désolé de gros mot) mais c'est la réalité

C series here is at the same price as the Samsung oled, yes even the s95c (it’s basically the same as s90c)
Weird choices by LG with how they’re handling the C series. It used to be that the gap between the C and G was so insignificant that you might as well save some money and get the C but this year the G separates itself even further. Now the gap between the B and C is so small you might as well save some money and get the B

I think the C4 will do just fine still, considering LG's picture processing is still superior to Samsung in every way. That alone will convince some people to buy a LG C4 over a Samsung QD-OLED. Wider color gamut is great and all, but picture processing is just as important if not a little more so than wider color gamut.
I disagree because Samsung's QD-OLED is vastly superior in brightness and is much better. It is also now $1,300. Ive seen multiple people online who owned the c3 and s90c and recommended the s90c. Even stop the fomo and others on CZcams recommended the s90c over the c3. Can't imagine their opinion will change with the c4. LG is letting Samsung overtake them in that category it seems. They shouldve included MLA for the C series. We still aren't really sure what Samsung has planned as well.
