Extremely useful. Thank you so much!
Do meyer frying pan will support hawkins glass lid??
Thank you..Very good video...Informative and useful..Expecting deep pans too...
This was very useful. Thanq for sharing it. Is it possible to do one of best steel cookers?
I am confused which pan is best for the price: Prestige, Borosil, and Vinod. The problem is there is a cheap version of Prestige pan (Prestige Platina Popular Fry Pan with good capacity) but they don't mention which is the grade of stainless steel used. Is the gap in Prestige tri-ply rivets too much of a concern? I am looking for a good quality an with a capacity of over 2Ltr (3 preferred). Thanks!
Please can someone tell me about Home One Trip ply utencils..
Very valuable information👌
Superb! good review,.
Very helpful video
Good information nicely explained
An amazingly knowledgeable video with best of the inputs given!!!! ......Hats off mam.......
On your blog have you guys ever reviewed Best OTG , Cooking Range in the market if yes pls provide me the link desperately need to buy one.
Thanking you
Iam using stahl with lid. Too good..
what do you use to scrub It ? scotch-brite?
Thanks
Yes. Scotch brite. It's dishwasher friendly too.
Pls make a video on Stainless Steel cooker and kdhai
Just found your page! You are so so underrated damn!
Thank u so much for your words of appreciation 😊
Very informative.... Now I know what to buy.
CanI buy it by flipkart
Very helpful video.
Just one thing is that the slope of 22cm Stahl is indeed very steep but the same is not applicable for its 24cm model. I went to a shop to check it out in hand and found that the 24 cm has a much more gradual slope which is really good.
Thanks for your comment. Appreciate the info...
Have you checked borosil
In my opinion , meyer is the best among all you've mentioned and certainly far better than that crappy prestige.
Very good comparison thanks
Very good information sharing with everyone taking knowledge everyone jai Shree Krishna Radhey Radhey
Very useful information.
Thanks
Hi can you also share your opinion in terms of the handle usage. Are they good enough for decent tossing while sauté-ing. Feels like the Meyer one has the most ergonomic handle lookwise.
Stahl isn't that ergonomic. It's heavier with short handles. Meyer, Bergner and Vinod are good in that respect.
very good review
Also if possible pls try to review Borosil Triply pans they are new in market ,less in price & moreover home brand.
I also had the same problem with prestige. Gap develops and becomes loose between the revet and the pan. Bergner or Vinod is good as I'm using the pans since two years.
Hi! I am confused between Bergner and Vinod and you could help, as you're a long-term user of both. Is Bergner PRACTICALLY better than Vinod, considering the major price difference? Does 18/10 steel of Bergner is better in shine, sturdiness, maintenance and overall quality than 18/8 steel of Vinod? Please reply. Thanks!
@@mrityunjaytripathi5588 18/10 is always better and expensive steel. Which one did you get?
@@mroboi1 yes. I will buy the Bergner one.
One nice gentleman with very questionable commonsense said that 18/8 is better because it has less nickel. As if we have to melt the utensil and drink it! In that case, probably 18/8 will kill us 1 microsecond late!!
More nickel gives 18/10 more and longer lasting shine.
@@mrityunjaytripathi5588 more nickel means the ot transfers heat even better and the steel is stronger. That's why 18/10 is expensive because of more nickel added for the said benefits. While I will update on whether more nickel means less leaching as it strengthens the steel later.
@@mrityunjaytripathi5588 i saw one bergner one 20cm with 2.5 ltr capacity. It's probably a typo from the company.
Very good information. TQ for sharing
Good...
I did quite a research before buying any stainless steel utensils...n found the reason for higher cost of meyer cookware..Because those r made with pure 100% stainless steel. Other brands they have 305SS which contains 8-10% of nickle which is okay but to have it 0% is the best n meyer stainless steel cookware doesn't have nickle in it...that's what make it most costly
That is true. Meyer has only 0.75% nickel, which is practically negligible. If you are allergic to Nickel, it is better to opt for Meyer. But, if not, then it doesn't really make much difference. Also, the chances of nickel leaching into food is very minimal from properly constructed stainless steel cookware. Anyway, thanks a lot for bringing up this point here :)
So Mayer ...it is for me....was looking to replace my non stick pans as they are not so durable & servants usually don’t take care while cleaning them..so non stick pans have to be cleaned by you or else keep buying them as they loose their coating, which as you mentioned is carcinogenic...Thank you.☺️
Should have considered Meyer Select stainless steel frypan 28 cm has the best quality steel and with 10 years warranty but it comes with a prize way better than Bergner
That pan isn't Triply. Its a basic pan with 3 layered base.
@@BenNeedsATheme4aDream Following is the response I got From Meyer regarding nickle free pans.. As per them until last year only 'select' series was nickle free. Now all stainless steel pans are nickle free
Dear Customer,
Greetings for the day !!
Thank you for contacting us. We would like to inform you that the Meyer Stainless Steel range - Select, Trivantage, and Centennial, all are totally toxin-free stainless steel cookware made WITHOUT nickel. It's significant to remember that this change was implemented just last year. In the past, only Stainless Steel Select was nickel-free.

@3:59 - This is not an omlette pan or a frying pan with slopy edges to make omlette. It's a saute pan ( Shallow ) with straight side walls.
It is sold as a frying pan. But I agree with you. It doesn't have enough slope for a frying pan.
@@everythingbetter Correct.. saute pans and frying pan names are used interchangeably. Any Saute pans with straight side walls are called Satouir which can be used to make curries..
I bought a 5 Ply Bergner frying pan for a whooping Rs. 6300 /- But I won't regret. If handled well it could last for my life time.
Now its availble for cheaper price, does it have nickel content and any issues of getting burnt
How is it now, is it working fine now, should I buy it, getting it for R. 3000 (20cm)

I want the small size with bakelite handles
Everyone said who used Meyer that Meyer overheats like no tomorrow unless it's the tri ply variety. But the Tri-ply is not nickle free. There are YT videos where the Meyer saucepan smokes like a Carbon steel wok! And that's on medium flame! It was sandwhich bottom too. Meyer normal variety has overheating issue. On the up side it saves you fuel. But we need to control heat more often. Bergner or vinod is better. I wonder why no one does Tupperware review? Tupperware also has Stainless steel cookware series like universal/inspire/pure etc

What about bergner tripro range?
Haven't had a chance to try it yet.
Induction cooker compatible?
Yes
How about Alda?
We haven't tested Alda. But user reviews are good.
but i ordered hawkins 22 cm🙄
Vinod frying pan is best
What the price of it

I think Meyer pans are expensive because of their nickel free stainless steel. I'm unsure if there are practical benefits attached to that. They also have a smaller footprint in India, so making it cheaper as of now might not be the best for them.
Yes... Meyer has nickel free stainless steel cookware. The one in this review is not nickel-free though. It is their Select range that is nickel-free. I have to say that the durability of Meyer is pretty good. As for whether stainless steel cookware are worth it, you can take a look at this- www.everythingbetter.in/nickel-free-stainless-steel-cookware/

Here in USA Meyer company sells few products in the name Faberware. Awesome products as they r lightweight. For retired old age people they r very good. But in India we get Mayer at cheaper than faberware as they charge four time higher price
Stahl is too good...using it from 2 years...just love to cook in them.
Can you give Stahl fry pan review after usage, any draw back of rivets
Nice 24-12-2020
Meyer nickle free products
Too useful to us,nice video, try to upload tryply Kadai reviews, waiting for it thanks in advance
There are plenty of other videos on youtube watch them
But all r expensive
Stainless steel bottom gets burnt y s that so how to clean it i m using stainless steel since few months while pouring oil for tempering bottom gets burnt pls reply how to clean it...
Usually when the pan and oil is sufficiently heated, food doesn't get stuck much on the bottom of SS pans. But even so, it's not non stick like teflon pans. Some food will get stuck. That usually goes away with regular scrubbing. But if it's too burnt and stubborn you can just boil some soapy water ( using dishwash liquid)and use a spatula to remove the burnt particles. Once cooled, you can then wash as usual.
Nice information prise please

Hi madam which brand is good in triply stainless Kadhai?
We are using Stahl Kadai for past 2 years. It is pretty good.
@@everythingbetter some told there is problem in handle screw as oil is storing in handle screw and after wash it’s leaking from screw.

Only 24 cm size for all brands which cook foods for only 2 people !!
You can buy the same in size of your choice. The basic material and construction quality will remain the same.
what about "BOROSIL frying pan"?
Made in china
Meyer is the only brand which is using nickel free stainless steel
Agree. But the one we have in the video is the Meyer Trivantage range which is not nickel-free. Only Meyer Select range of cookware is nickel-free
@@everythingbetter it's so confusing. Amazon seller Pots n pans (which I think is representing meyer in India) calls trivantage nickel free) Meyer's website lists trivantage under nickle free filter when you search by material. I think select is also cheaper compared to tri. So shouldn't tri be the nickle free variant? Definitely seems like a failed proofreading by Meyers. Since you bought it, did the packaging mention nickle free?

I don’t know why to use 3 ply? We have been using since 40 yrs steel vessels with copper bottom. I wash it in dishwasher. Never have a problem n they r cheaper. Traditional workers will get better days
It's lasting probably because it is 40 years old 😊 Things nowadays don't get made in as good quality as they used to...
@@everythingbetter yeah it’s true. But to get maximum profit nonstick was innovative but now it’s proven harmful. Nowadays gas burners r such that we must use flat bottom. Deep kadhai means less oil but useful only for on the top gas burners. Let it be.
Anyway here in Pune all types of vessels we get at cheap rate good qlty.
Ur video is nice.
I want to buy
Please check the links in description.
Why meyer cookware comes with a hefty price .....is because of the steel they use is 100 percent nickel free ...way better then bergner which uses 18/10 ....vinod cookware is better than bergner as vinod uses 18/8 steel
Actually 18/10 steel is better and costlier. You're talking in terms of health hazard where more nickel (10) is considered more harmful than less (8). But in reality more nickel makes a pot sturdier and shinier and less prone to chemical leeching. It off course is costlier too. My only question is whether the Bergner's considerably higher price justifies that higher price, PRACTICALLY?
Ans to above question is NO...better go for Vinod cookware which I believe somewhat justifies its price.
