    I am confused which pan is best for the price: Prestige, Borosil, and Vinod. The problem is there is a cheap version of Prestige pan (Prestige Platina Popular Fry Pan with good capacity) but they don't mention which is the grade of stainless steel used. Is the gap in Prestige tri-ply rivets too much of a concern? I am looking for a good quality an with a capacity of over 2Ltr (3 preferred). Thanks!

    I did quite a research before buying any stainless steel utensils...n found the reason for higher cost of meyer cookware..Because those r made with pure 100% stainless steel. Other brands they have 305SS which contains 8-10% of nickle which is okay but to have it 0% is the best n meyer stainless steel cookware doesn't have nickle in it...that's what make it most costly

    • @everythingbetter
      @everythingbetter  Před 3 lety +3

      That is true. Meyer has only 0.75% nickel, which is practically negligible. If you are allergic to Nickel, it is better to opt for Meyer. But, if not, then it doesn't really make much difference. Also, the chances of nickel leaching into food is very minimal from properly constructed stainless steel cookware. Anyway, thanks a lot for bringing up this point here :)

      Usually when the pan and oil is sufficiently heated, food doesn't get stuck much on the bottom of SS pans. But even so, it's not non stick like teflon pans. Some food will get stuck. That usually goes away with regular scrubbing. But if it's too burnt and stubborn you can just boil some soapy water ( using dishwash liquid)and use a spatula to remove the burnt particles. Once cooled, you can then wash as usual.
