First and foremost, the idea of a blanket gun ban and expecting criminals to turn in their firearms is downright idiotic. Let's face it, the only folks who would comply with such a ludicrous demand are law-abiding citizens - the very people we should be least worried about.
Criminals, on the other hand, couldn't care less about the law. They're already breaking it by possessing firearms they shouldn't have.
So tell me, how does disarming the good guys and leaving them defenseless make any sense?
I want to also debunk the claim that guns are the number one killer of kids in this country.
Remember when Joe Biden spouted off that nonsense almost a year ago?
Well, turns out, they conveniently left out a crucial detail: the CDC study they love to quote includes 18 and 19-year-olds as "kids." Last time I checked, those young adults are legally considered adults
So forgive me for calling out their cherry-picked stats and the skewed narrative they're trying to sell.
But here's the real kicker, folks. The Second Amendment, the very thing they're trying to villainize, actually played a crucial role in ensuring black people's right to bear arms.

Some time ago, there was a mass shooting in UK and for that, unfortunately, all guns were banned and now we live in a country where we cannot defend themselves. I'm an Italian living in the UK and this is one of the reason why I'm leaving as soon as I pay off my student debt. And I also feel sorry for Australians and Canadians. I feel like the govt is forcing us to have sympathy for criminals and making sure they are OK while the victims are getting punished for defending themselves.

Really? Because we had a school shooting similar to Sandy Hook in my country 30 years ago, we banned guns, and haven't had one since. Coincidence? Police now don't carry guns, police shoot 2 people a year, and 60 people get shot a year out of a pop of 80 million. It did work.

The second amendment was created because of the fear of a tyrannical government not a fear of rebellion. Our founding fathers wanted to guarantee us the ability to rebel against tyranny.

When the Constitution was written, a clock that kept accurate time...was said to be "well regulated." The way the Founding Fathers interpreted that word is: "Working as it should be"

The only toe, not foot, they can stand on when it comes to the 2nd Amendment being racist is the fact that when the Bill of Rights was written, it referred to American citizens. Blacks were not considered citizens at the time of writing, so yes, "technically," it wouldn't have applied to them.
THAT BEING SAID, had the following generations been more thorough in their legislature and more consistent in their logic, the moment blacks and women were recognized as citizens, all constitutional rights should have been recognized. @@tostsalad3796yeah the other very problematic thing is that no one is mentioning that the highest density of mass shootings occur in areas with the strictest gun laws. I’m not here to say why that is, but in a mass shooter survival training that my work had us go through (hosted by an FBI trainer) this was brought up, and we were literally shown a map where the shootings occur and number of victims. Take a wild guess what states those shootings were in.
