There are numerous witnesses that saw the shooter on the roof with a rifle! Why were they ignored? Why would the roof, 150 yards away from the stage be unsecured? I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but this is either incompetence or intentional. 😢

NO SECRET SERVICE DRONES? I am a retired federal agent. Every other agency in the country uses drones for crowd surveillance at special events, but the Secret Service doesn't have any? How is that even possible? Did I miss something here?

The Secret Service is supplemented for these large events by additional security hired and paid for by the Trump campaign- they really need to be examined. The were rumors that the Trump campaign were being cheap with Trump’s security.

My condolences to his wife Helen, and his daughters Allyson & Kaylee, and father Raymond. There was also another who was injured and is in the hospital.

The Trump campaign staff asked for additional protection at the rally, but the Secret Service refused to provide it. Then the Secret Service missed spotting the shooter in plain view on the roof of a nearby building and ignored those who tried to call attention to him. Something really stinks here.
The SS ended up having to rely on local law enforcement for peripheral security. Investigate them!

A local resident gave an interview that Trump had a rally at Butler airport 4 years ago and securities were on every rooftop at that event. He didn't see the same measure at this rally and could tell the differences.
Was he President at the time? The acting POTUS has better security than prior Presidents.
I think the reason why is because four years ago he was the President. The security is probably higher than it would be for a former President.

If I'm thinking of the same video as what you are describing, he was President at that time. there are different levels of security depending if you are President, former president or the parties nominee (I believe those are the different levels). Since he is not the current President, he wouldn't have the same security as he did when he was President.

Based on the video I saw, which the witnesses informed the police of the guy climbing the wall, it was only about 30 seconds until you hear the first shot. I think that blaming the police or Secret Service for this is a bit hasty. However, it is ALSO being reported that the Administration and Party trying to REMOVE Trump's Secret Service Detail in Congress, ALSO has been denying REPEATED requests from the Trump Campaign for MONTHS leading up to this. What is significant, is that Trump's Secret Service Detail is SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER than it should be, as a result.

The really strange thing is that the bodyguard was standing directly in front of the attacker. What's even more suspicious is that it takes a significant amount of time for the attacker to prepare to shoot. So how did the bodyguard not see him or why did he wait for the attacker to shoot? It also takes a long time for people to get seated and for the event to be prepared for the speech. The Secret Service should have been stationed there beforehand and had the entire area under surveillance. This incident is suspicious. In my opinion, the Secret Service, Trump's bodyguards, and even his sniper need to answer questions. The sniper bodyguard had a clear view of the attacker from the beginning.
