    More reverb pedals should be buffered-bypass like this one. They're often the final pedal in the chain and it eliminates the need for a separate buffer. Especially if you run an always-on tone sweetener like an EP/RC Booster or the like. Great call.

    • @chrisegg7936
      @chrisegg7936 Před 6 lety

      wgb01001 honestly the buffered bypass might be the #1 factor for me picking this up even though i’ve got a few reverb and delay pedals already. Especially with my digital delay, i really wish i had an easy way to set up an infinite repeat/drone and play over it without changing the repeats. Obviously a looper pedal would do that but then i need another pedal! And then i can’t mess with the repeats in real time without making a new loop. I was thinking of picking up an afterneath from EQD but it’s true bypass and that makes me hesitate.

    This is probably the single best pedal demo I have ever seen: repeating succinct riffs, parameter adjustments, and complete overview. Bravo. Would have liked to hear some dirty tones though-very minor drawback. Still, bravo!

    If there was a serious competitor to the Strymon BlueSky, I would say it is this pedal hands down.
    I have one of these, and it sounds fantastic.

    • @Calle565
      @Calle565 Před 2 lety +2

      It's better than the Strymon stuff. Had all three of their reverbs (I know now there are four) and sold them all. The neunaber wet is the best reverb algorithm I know.

    I don't usually like reverb pedals---they are either not natural sounding or not subtle enough for me,but this Neunaber seems in a different league. I could be on my way to buying my very first reverb pedal!

    Great demo! And Great hearing different styles with the fitting revebr/fx for that style. AND, finally somebody that had their instrument tuned properly before making the demo. May I ask, did you run the pedal in the fx loop or in front of the amp? Tanks for an awesome demo

    Hi Mike, great playing and demonstrating as always!
    How would you compare the audio quality of reverbs on offer here to that of the Strymon Blue Sky (if you have experience with it)?

    • @toddcarpenter4233
      @toddcarpenter4233 Před 8 lety +2

      I have had both.. I find strymon stuff to sound very digital and a pain in the ass to dial in perfectly.. The immerse is super simple and sounds great.. The selling thing for me was all it does is add reverb. So when you dial in a killer tone there no tone mush, drops or wierd shit going on .. Just an awesome hit of reverb goodness.
