Here's an idea for the channel: do similar shoutouts (delays, overdrives, distortions etc.) and then create a pedalboard with Rebea's choices.
Then auction it for charity!
Interesting concept! It would be interesting to see if the individually favored pedals got along nicely with one another. There are pedals that i love on their own, but which do not play well with others.

Rebea’s favorite is who is paying him to say it. Dude can shred, but also has so much gear in his favorite box it dilutes his opinion.

Rabea has a really good ear and taste.
As long as Lee does a hint of research to dial in the pedals better. Kind of stupid if you’re not optimizing the benefits of each pedal 😊

Yup, I have the JHS 3-series Hall Reverb and it's replaced the EHX Oceans 11 on my board despite having 10% of the features. They're awesome.

The fact a Behringer can nearly go toe to toe with the Strymon is pretty mad
Surprises always come when you judge with your ears and not your eyes
Most pedals have a sweet spot where they sound good. Great pedals have several. With Strymon you're paying for both quality and versatility. Good Behringer pedals are amazing for the price though.
Their engineering is astonishing, sadly so is the ego of their owner.

Pretty much my thinking. But in a pound for pound fight, I got the Behringer for £14 second hand. If it has 1 great sound for that price it’s a bargain. I’m not sure it will last though.
I could listen to Rabea playing clean tones all day long. What a player he is. 🤘👍
I really appreciate these kind of videos. That “zing” is what I’ve been trying to describe in my head that I didn’t like about my own plate reverb. It’s the closest to what I like but man, that’s really helped out with what I’ve been dealing with!

I absolutely love Rabbea’s ambient playing. He is just so effortlessly musical and deeply soulful, I am effected by it regardless of the style he is playing.
Truly unique and a pure pleasure to hear.

It's not just a better thing, it's completely about how it makes you personally feel.
Always a fun and good video when Rabea is there. He made every pedal sound glorious just with his playing, phrasing and touch.
You guys should think about doing more of these. They’re a lot of fun! It’s great to hear the thought process of a musician as talented as Rabea.
Every single time the strymon bluesky came back on it brought a smile to my face... One day I will get my hands on one, but until then I think hearing Rabea play through it is good enough 🔥🔥

Weird, I thought it was better than some, but absolutely not close to the Strymon
Honestly, Behringers digital delays and reverbs are very very under underestimated. Very often the number # 1 choice amongst shoegazers for example. Its the same with the Zoom multi fx units (The Ms-50G and the -70 CDR) wich are like 100 bucks and packed with a bunch of other effects

The modulation on it really gives you that 3d space. Good reverb, for sure.

Rabea has an amazing ear.. and I completely concur with his tastes.. choice and ear! Great Job! I am now going to buy the Strymon Blue Sky! And probably also the JHS that lasted 4 rounds. Both Great pedals! Great shootout!

I love this series, best part of my day is listening to this in my car.
The JHS impressed me but also the Behringer DR-800 (round #7) which was my favorite round.

I love those blank JHS pedals. Funnily enough, I think the marketing behind them is great haha, a pedal with no marketing or branding on it, super clean, almost the "apple" of pedals. Look good and sound good.
Would be awesome to see a follow up video where Rabea dialed them all in to his liking and A/B’d again!
I really don't like that Lee is giving hints about the pedals price/quality/reputation in a blind shootout.

My reverb too is a Bluesky V1, and YES! My research didn't fail me either, it's like there is a reverb orchestra with the Bluesky.

May I say, I love that you took time to go into the settings in real time. It is very helpful to hear Bea say make it duller or take off the top end and watch which settings correspond to his requests.
That "cut highs + bump up mix" is perfect tool for background guitars.
It's most inspiring sound I could choose.
One thing I experience alot is that reverbs designed for stereo rarely sound good in mono
I did this with my eyes closed, genuinely participating.
My favourite by quite a distance was the Strymon.
The JHS and GFI are second and third.

Always enjoy these videos thanks. I think it’s better when you don’t give hints how good or bad a product is though. Rather than telling Rabea he is playing something high end it’s best to keep it a mystery so that it doesn’t influence him.

Super cool. Love these. I have been just using my amps reverb but after seeing everyone use a reverb pedal I watched this to help me narrow down some options. The JHS really impressed me with the quality at that price point.

A great video. I especially enjoyed Lee’s look of puzzled anxiety as the Behringer briefly gave the Blue Sky a run for it’s money. Wow, the Blue Sky is good though. I’m just off to check what’s in my piggy bank!

Wow, a really nice video. I have the BlueSky, but didnt used it for a few months (i wanted a smaller reverb pedal). Since yesterday i use it again and it ist his feeling like a home coming.
Also the Behringer was suprising good.
Well you know, the football references are fun and all to some degree, but here it's just too much. And I like both Andertons and football :) Great video concept, as someone said - you should do this with Bea with all the "standard" effect pedals, it's really interesting! :)

My two favorites were the two that took the top slot. That Strymon is just gorgeous, but I'd be more than happy with the JHS hall reverb.

I love the Strymon Flint. It is a great Reverb pedal and also has a separate Tremolo side. Two great pedals in one box.

my take away is that the strymon is top notch especially with how the signal path runs through it... but the JHS reverb was my fav overall because of how good it sounded with minimal functions to get there.
I was happy to see a comparison between the Blue Sky and the RV-6. Mostly because I have the RV-6 and I don't have a Blue Sky but now I want one.
The RV-6 is a great pedal - save your money... but then I am in no position to tell you :) - please buy whatever you want and like. Tastes are different

I think comparing hall and plate is tricky! Definitely different in the reflections. When there was options to select Hall that may have been closer!

Brilliantly entertaining video. Some were pretty neck n neck. I think the Blackhole didn’t get it’s fair time to mess with and adjust but wasn’t surprised that the bluesky won. I was surprised at how many rounds the Behringer and JHS made it considering they’re more basic or affordable to the big dogs.
I like this type of video a lot. Also any time Rabea is playing guitar I'm here for it.

On another subject, that strat looks and sounds killer!
I had to make my own sub shootout according to which one I can afford. Best side by side test I've seen. Really helps Rabea knows how to use the effect and has a pros ear. I don't have many effects pedals so I'm selective. The fact the Behringer was even in the running with the Strymon says a lot. My current budget set-up is a Monoprice 5w tube amp w/Celestion speaker and the Behringer DR600 pedal. $200 total and it sounds excellent. Good to know you really are getting a premium sound for your money with the Strymon, you aren't just a snob.
