This whole cheater issue will leave a lasting scar, even if there is ever a perfectly functioning anti-cheat
Same crap happened when Dota updated to Source 2 aswell, it will get fixed, and valve is working on it.

Were talking about CS here, every version for over a decade we see the same cheating epidemic in CS, Valve needs to bite the bullet and license a proper anticheat out of their 7bn yearly revenue

As CS2 was announced and VacLive was presented, I was so happy (I thought to myself: finally, it will be possible to compete fairly on higher ranks without the fear of running into someone who will be cheating).
It was supposed to be so wonderful, and it's even worse now. Now, in practically every match, I come across a guy who spins around and shoots with an SSG like a machine gun.
I've written down the accounts of these obvious cheaters and check them from time to time... None of them have been banned yet.
Valve should team up with Faceit and create a new AI anti-cheat and introduce ID verification - if someone gets banned, they should never be able to play this game again.
