Why did Allah say about Prophet Suleiman that he was a great servant of Allah?
Because :
إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
he ˹constantly˺ turned ˹to Allah˺. Ch 38 V 30
Story of the first case of judgement:
And ˹remember˺ when David and Solomon passed judgment regarding the crops ruined ˹at night˺ by someone’s sheep, and We were witness to their judgments. Ch 21 V 78
We guided ˹young˺ Solomon to a fairer settlement,1 and granted each of them wisdom and knowledge. We subjected the mountains as well as the birds to hymn ˹Our praises˺ along with David. It is We Who did ˹it all˺. Ch 21 V 79
Footnote From Imam Mustafa Khattab's Quran Translation: A man’s flock of sheep strayed into another man’s vineyard, eating and destroying all his produce. When the two men came to David for judgment, he ruled that the shepherd must give his animals to the vineyard owner in compensation for the damage. On their way out, the two men met young Solomon and the shepherd complained to him. Solomon discussed the case with his father and suggested that the sheep should be kept with the man who lost his produce so he may benefit from their milk and wool, while the shepherd worked on the farm to restore it to its original state. Eventually the famer would take back his farm in perfect condition, and the sheep would be returned to the shepherd. David was impressed by his son’s insight and approved his fair judgment immediately.
Story of the second case of judgement:
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "There were two women with whom there were their two sons. A wolf came and took away the son of one of them. That lady said to her companion, 'The wolf has taken your son.' The other said, 'But it has taken your son.' So both of them sought the judgment of (the Prophet) David who judged that the boy should be given to the older lady. Then both of them went to (the Prophet) Solomon, son of David and informed him of the case. Solomon said, 'Give me a knife so that I may cut the child into two portions and give one half to each of you.' The younger lady said, 'Do not do so; may Allah bless you ! He is her child.' On that, he gave the child to the younger lady." Abu Huraira added: By Allah! I had never heard the word 'Sakkin' as meaning knife, except on that day, for we used to call it "Mudya". [Al-Bukhari]
Prophet Suleiman inherited from Prophet Dawud:
And David was succeeded by Solomon, who said, “O people! We have been taught the language of birds, and been given everything ˹we need˺. This is indeed a great privilege.” Ch 27 V 16
Dua of Prophet Suleiman:
He prayed, “My Lord! Forgive me, and grant me an authority that will never be matched by anyone after me. You are indeed the Giver ˹of all bounties˺.” Ch 38 V 35
The power and dominion Allah bestowed upon Suleiman:
So We subjected to him the wind, blowing gently at his command to wherever he pleased.
And ˹We subjected to him˺ every builder and diver of the jinn, - Zábava

Assalamu alaykum brother, jazakhAllahu Khairun for this beautiful series. It has really helped me build knowledge Alhamdulila. Brother, you mentioned the horses were sacrificed like we sacrifice goats etc.. And the meat given away. Was would people do with the horse meat? Yanee... Its haram to consume.. So what does it mean to sacrifice the horse exactly?

Ameen! Thank you for watching. May Allah increase us all in beneficial knowledge. In regards to your question, it is possible that Prophet Suleiman gave away the meat. Horse meat, according to the majority of the scholars is permissible, according to what I learned. And Allah knows best. Ramadan mubarak to you and your family!
