I just want to REMIND onething: in bible they mention david as an adulterer(who seduced #batsheba who already was married to his military general and had illegal child who died after 7 days ) nauzubillah. Beware of that. Islamic prophet dawood can never commit such a sin. Prophets are masoomeen. This is the difference between TRUTH AND LIES!

In Jewish law when a man goes to war he gives his wife a (GET) In Judaism it is a temporary Divorce as if wife doesn't get one she will not be allowed to marry unless they can find the body of her husband! So a temporary divorce she has till his comes bk! So on this basis she was temporary not married! King David was then with a women who was not married! He sinned ethical not technical!

@@jewishwhitetigerthe Quranic version says very little about David.
Thus much of the islamic description comes from ahadith and tafseer. These two things were recorded by the Ulama the ulama were not contemporaries to mohammed never mind David or any of the prophets, so what were their sources ? did Angel Jibril also visit them ? Wouldnt that make them prophets too ?
There is nothing pre-islamic that supports their version of events. Surely besides books, oral traditions would give a hint of this alternative David but they dont. One can only conclude it is not the same David or their version is simply made up.
Now let us look at the Quranic David. A little of his story features in sura al baqarah. Within a few lines Saul is made king to go to a holy war, Goliath is killed in battle and immediately after David becomes king. Several different stories from different books of the Tanakh are compressed and conflated in this sura including Saul becoming 'Gideon'. The quran does not know the name of the prophet who anointed Saul [talut means tall] david is in the army (which according to halacha would not be permitted due to his age). There is no mention of how or why David defeating Goliath was remarkable.
Another problem is that the Quran acknowledges the Zubr (tehillim) and David's authorship or that it was revealed to him.
If it was a revelation what was it's purpose where is that Zubr now as islam claims that the Zubr we have now is not the same one.
Is there any evidence of anyone being guided by the zubr or was it meant only for David?
Here are the problems with these narratives and the problems are manifold . One of the few lines taken from the Miqra that appears in the Quran is from the Zubr, word for word. This points to the Tehillim being the same as we have it today. The one we have today is not a revelation but rather recitals of words of praise and wisdom from mainly David.
'the righteous shall inherit the earth'
So when the Quran challenges anyone to write an ayat like it, here is one that was penned by a man and copied in to the Quran. It questions the supposed divine authorship.
On this preposterous idea that prophets were perfect, they were men with much virtue restrsaint and morals but not flawless. Was David even a prophet ?
Ironically if we look at all the prophets in islam the only one who trangressed and with a long list of misdemeanours greater than the aggregate of all the errors of all the biblical prophets is Mohammed. But somehow Mohammed was somehow excused or justified in all his wrongs and errors.

@@suppaman12, it's because Old Momo would put himself in hot waters had he recounted David's sins. Old Momo did the nasty things that King David committed, but 10x worse, and he is supposed to be the perfect man. King David harshly faced the consequences of his sin. This is nowhere to be found in the Quran since portraying David in a bad like would be akin to Creepy Old Momo sabotaging himself.

Peter calls David a prophet in Acts 2:30 "But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne."
However while David was king God often spoke to him through other prophets. Such as Gad and Nathan. The balance of power was that kings ruled the people, and were Gods chosen representative. But God often spoke to the king through his prophets, not directly.
One occasion was 2 Samuel 12, where Nathan asked David to judge between two men, a rich man who took the only ewe from a poor man. When David condemned the greedy man, Nathan revealed that is was David who was the rich man who stole the wife of Uriah. David immediately repented.
This is a very clear parallel to the story in the Quran about David judging two men about a stolen sheep, and then he immediately repents.

Now let me tell you what an absurd book is . An absurd book will give you no details , wich will raise you questions about a lot of topics , An absurd book will confuse you with having no chronological order . An absurd book will make claims without the possibility to back it up . An absurdd book will tell you beleive what i say because i say so , dont question me , just blindly beleive me . And now try to prove me Quran dont fit in any of the definitions I gave you of an Absurd book . The bible is the work of God throught out history dont ever disrespect what God did for his people and still do up to this date .
