The golden era and age of bani Israel, the children of Israel, was during the prophethood of Dawood, David, and his son, Suleiman, Solomon.
In their stories there is truly a lesson for people of reason. Ch: 12 V:111
We start with Prophet Dawood when he was young and had to fight Jaloot, Goliath.
Here are the details from Ch:2 V:246 to V:252
Have you not seen those chiefs of the Children of Israel after Moses? They said to one of their prophets, “Appoint for us a king, ˹and˺ we will fight in the cause of Allah.” He said, “Are you not going to cower if ordered to fight?” They replied, “How could we refuse to fight in the cause of Allah, while we were driven out of our homes and ˹separated from˺ our children?” But when they were ordered to fight, they fled, except for a few of them. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of the wrongdoers.
Their prophet told them, “Allah has appointed Saul1 to be your king.” They protested, “How can he be our king when some of us are more deserving of kingship than he, and he has not been blessed with vast riches?” He replied, “Allah has chosen him over you and blessed him with knowledge and stature. Allah grants kingship to whoever He wills. And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.”
Their prophet further told them, “The sign of Saul’s kingship is that the Ark will come to you-containing reassurance from your Lord and relics of the family of Moses and the family of Aaron, which will be carried by the angels. Surely in this is a sign for you, if you ˹truly˺ believe.”
When Saul marched forth with his army, he cautioned: “Allah will test you with a river. So whoever drinks ˹his fill˺ from it is not with me, and whoever does not taste it-except a sip from the hollow of his hands-is definitely with me.” They all drank ˹their fill˺ except for a few! When he and the ˹remaining˺ faithful with him crossed the river, they said, “Now we are no match for Goliath and his warriors.” But those ˹believers˺ who were certain they would meet Allah reasoned, “How many times has a small force vanquished a mighty army by the Will of Allah! And Allah is ˹always˺ with the steadfast.”
When they advanced to face Goliath and his warriors, they prayed, “Our Lord! Shower us with perseverance, make our steps firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”
So they defeated them by Allah’s Will, and David killed Goliath. And Allah blessed David with kingship and wisdom and taught him what He willed. Had Allah not repelled a group of people by ˹the might of˺ another, corruption would have dominated the earth, but Allah is Gracious to all.
These are Allah’s revelations which We recite to you ˹O Prophet˺ in truth. And you are truly one of the messengers.

Brother, Jazakoum Allaho khairan ! Incredible lecture, may Allah grant you all goodness ! Cant wait for the next part. However, just one small advice akhi inshaAllah: I don't know the reason, but I noticed you continously switch between english and arabic. I find that a little bit confusing and all over the place. I speak arabic fluently myself, but for someone who doesnt understand arabic it might be hard on them to follow.. whether english or arabic it doesnt matter, but sticking to a single language is soo much relaxing and clear to follow (with exception to ahadith and quran ofc ) thank you very much brother. doesnt mean it in any offensive way.

Brother Ramzi! Jazaka Allahu khairun! Thank you for watching and for your kind words. Keep your advice coming akhi. I really appreciate it. There are certain lectures I give when there is a significant amount of people who know very little English and more Arabic. This series is one of them. But I can improve and work more on when to meaningfully translate and when not to, in shaa Allah. Thank you so much 🌼

@@MajedMahmoud wa alaykoum salam ustadhh. I already watched the lecture yesterday, and was surprised you actually implemented all the advices people gave you! Allahuma barik even though we are nobodies, you didnt have to change anything, but you did it fi sabili lah " wa qaddir fi sard " haha.
After I learnt the reason of the continous language switch I felt a little ashamed. There was no need to change anything for the sake of viewers with little knowledge of the english language.
The second lecture was absolutely breathtaking ustadh. Extremely motivating and emotional. It motivated me to excel in various 'ibadaat.
Wallahi you need more viewers and subscribers ustadh! Not for the sake of likes or views but for more people to benefit from these amazing lectures.
May Allah swt bless you with all goodness in this life and the Hereafter. Already excited for part 3 !

I personally really appreciate it being bits of both and I'm an English speaker. In my humble opinion its good switching between the two and keeps my attention and I think it also encourages people to learn more Arabic. I truly do respect your opinion and for considering others, being a fluent Arabic speaker yourself, just thought I'd express mine too as I'm sure there's people who agree/disagree with both of us. I love that brother majed has responded so humbly and rapidly to your advice. May Allah reward you both and grant you both jannah ameen
