Asake' album is a big flex. It has been beautiful to see. The album has remained number 1 on UK apple album chart for 6 days now above Beyonce, Harry styles and DJ Khaled 👏. That is simply unreal.
I believe also that the album will age well.
This guy has a good sense of musical history which makes his analysis more appealing and philosophical. Also like the way the lady haa her own independent opinion and contribution. Great review guys!

For me it is. Because this is the one album this year I can feel every of the music. And the arrangement of that album was so sick. You wouldn't even know when the music is changing. Dupe, Joha, Organize, Dull.
And also Asake is strongly influenced by Fuji and that added spice to the album.
I feel like artists like Zinolesky and Bella Shmurda have a more obvious Fuji influence

Asake's album is great no doubt but he should better be ready for a tougher run next year. He can enjoy the whole trend of his Amapiano afrobeat mix while it last. Trendy sounds has been known to have a shorter span especially in this kind of industry space. Nigerians after they must have drained you out, they usually move on too quickly!

Pheelz on finesse brought that crowd effect.. anf that’s where Burna got his last last song inspiration from and that’s also where Asake got his latest sound from cause we listened to his ep amd he did not use this crowd effect but after finesse by Buju and Pheelz , the crowd effect is now in play just that Asake is using it too much while Pheelz just did it on one song.. just like When Mad over you came out and artist started using that add lip effect..
