Douglas Murray ridicules a generation that has to censor Life of Brian

- The new Monty Python stage play is set to remove the famous but now controversial scene where a character states his right as a man to have babies which just goes to show how far ahead of their time the show-makers were, says Author Douglas Murray.
“It is always strange when an era comes along that thinks it is so accepting and all about tolerance and it can’t put up with jokes that have survived as among the most cherished jokes for decades,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panani.
“The people of my generation, we know Life of Brian - I can pretty much do the whole script.
“They can’t butcher the Life of Brian - it is probably the greatest comic movie ever made.”
I used to feel neutral about trans people. My feelings have shifted considerably, and not in the direction they want. Solely because of their own actions.
They’re no better than the stop oil nut jobs
When one of them shot up children and seniors at a Christian school because they were Christian, and they tried to make her out to be a martyr and a victim, and tried to make murdered children and seniors into villains, they made an enemy of me. The trans community and their "allies" are completely unhinged.
Genuine trans who just want to get on with thier lives are horrified with whats happening

Hey most gay folks want nothing to do with this trans madness. Trans is actually anti-sexuality. I mean when was the last time you were attracted to a persons inner gender? Never.
You're confusing two completely unrelated things. Homosexuality has got nothing to do with this "trans" crap. Gays have been around since the dawn of time, but only in our generation have people started to claim that humans can change their "gender," whatever that may mean.

Life of Brian is and was prophetic. It's probably the smartest comedy of all time. I loved it when it was released and love it even more today. "Where's the fetus going to gestate? Are you going to keep it in a box"? Pure brilliance!
Right?! His arguments are all physical in nature, having skipped completely over the easy, obvious, cliché moral or social ones. Absolute brilliance. You haven't got a womb!

There are only two films that have reduced me to literal tears of laughter, 'Life of Brian' and 'National Lampoon's Animal House'. Both made around the same time and both could never be made again.

Cathy Newman: So you're saying that Monty Python actually CAUSED all this woke-trans nonsense?
You know its all over when 'The life of Brian" has offended Satan.
Especially ironic considering how the Church of England tried to get it cancelled in the first place.
Very interesting framing!! I like it. Seems like evil can't handle TRUTH. As it needs lies to twist, imprison, and distort. "The filter that's been pulled over your eyes, to blind you from the truth". Hmmmm. Speaking as someone who used to be on the other side of this, and a fully brainwashed, queer theory loving little TRA..? That was EXACTLY what it was like. A filter. That inverted everything, and flipped it on its head, so that evil seemed good, and good seemed evil. Sh*t is seriously SO f*cking spooky! Even more so, now that I realize how much I was unknowingly taken in by evil, and would speak in favor of it, to help perpetuate it, before the scales fell from my eyes. I AT LEAST believe in the Devil as a very apt symbol / metaphor for evil, now. And maybe more.
Time to cancel the cancelers.

Reg: Why don't you shut up about women, Stan, you're putting us off.
Stan: Women have a perfect right to take part in our Movement, Reg.
Reg: Why are you always on about women, Stan?
Stan: I want to be one. I want to be a woman. From now on I want you all to call me 'Loretta.'
Reg: What?
Stan: It's my right as a man.
Judith: Why do you want to be 'Loretta,' Stan?
Stan: I want to have babies.
Reg: You want to have babies?!?
Stan: It's every man's right to have babies if he wants them.
Reg: But you can't have babies!
Stan: Don't you oppress me.
Reg: I'm not oppressing you, Stan - you haven't got a womb. Where's the fetus gunna gestate? You gunna keep it in a box?
Judith: Here, I've got an idea. Suppose we agree that he can't actually have babies, not having a womb which is nobody's fault, not even the Romans, but he can have the RIGHT to have babies.
3rd bloke: Good idea, Judith. We shall fight the oppressor for your RIGHT to have babies, brother. Sister - sorry.

Douglas Murray and Rita are the highlight of my week!!!! Two intelligent, good-humored people who make sense in a ridiculously nonsensical world!
Again, a misunderstanding from those who haven’t actually watched the entire film. The Loretta scene has a brilliant pay off later in the film. When Judith comes running into the group to tell Reg (Cleese’s character) that Brian is being crucified and they need to act now, Reg’s response is to call for “immediate discussion”. Judith gets frustrated and storms out to which Reg comments, “oh, a little power trip for for the feminists there”, the group laughs except for Stan who is now Loretta, who reacts, “what?” Noticing this, Reg leans over and apologises, “oh sorry Loretta”. Reg, initially confused actually accepts that Stan is now Loretta and this character is still part of their group. One would think the film is affirming for these trans people in this case. It is a perfect example of how most of us react and then accept. But no, these morons call to cancel the scene which would then mean cancelling the final pay off which is quite sweet really. Idiots.
The Left is not ok with everyone getting a beating. They only want to beat their opponents.

If certain cast members of the LoB stage production are "uncomfortable" with elements of the script that's fine - rather than stamp their feet and have silly little hissy fits, let's see them put their money where their mouths are and resign "on principle". This then allows others who'd actually be grateful for the opportunity to perform in such an iconic show to step up and take their places.
That was my first thought on the subject.

Studies also show that it causes both long and short term damage to memory and many other brain functions, as the tiny capillaries die from elevated CO2 and reduced O2 reducing the blood transported in the brain by capillary action.
People showing O2 sensors behind masks, well below safe levels, have been deemed 'not safe for consumption' by the ministry of nonsense.

In the 80s we had a cival construction crew who worked away 2 weeks at a time and always carried a video of LoB and MPatHG.
They would watch them with the sound off and each member of the crew doing the dialogue for a character. So funny to watch them . They had it down pat.
