They may look like they're taking a stroll in the park during group stage matches, but they're a different beast in the knockout stages especially with everyone fit. The away goals rule being knocked may be an advantage for them since it hasn't been their best friend over the years against clubs like real, atletico and psg

atletico and psg is accurate, real isnt; the last few times theyve played: 3-3 on aggregate, bayern win on penalties, real win 5-0 on aggregate, real win 6-3 on aggregate, real win 4-3 on aggregate (im a bayern fan btw)
The only team that I see that worries me is psg with that front 3, aside from them and a bogeyman defensive side like athletico I'd put bayern ahead of anyone in the competition. There's only 3 or 4 real contenders the rest are pretenders.

Why is everyone writing off Bayern? They have one of the best squads in the world and they are also one of the most inform teams. They won 5-0 against Hertha Berlin, 4-1 against Leipzig and 3-0 against Barcelona in their last three games
Because Bayern doesn't have the flash of PSG and Man City. Honestly, this Bayern side is stronger than the 2019-2020. They have the much needed depth with Sabitza, fresh CB and the comfortability to leave Gnabry on the bench. Bayern this season don't have a weakness. You know people don't watch the bundes liga, when they are placing Neuer outside the top 5 GKs.

I really want to see City vs Bayern, the amount of people who have them over Bayern is insane they have not won anything in the last decade nor shown that they can beat Bayern. Hopefully we get to see that match this year.
Even I want to see City vs Bayern. Whoever wins between the two will probably win it. Both teams play pressing football with a high defensive line and don't care about conceding goals. It will be a battle of pace and possession down the flanks, very exciting.
That was a training session for Bayern they didn't even give it their all.
The thing that Bayern was missing is intensity. With the international break, cup, league, and CL... Most of these guys have played every 3 odd days for 3 weeks. They'll be back at full fitness soon. The difference in quality between these two sides is massive, and it showed. Not a single Barcelona player would break into that Bayern team. Maybe F.De Jong and Pedri in rotation with Kimmich and Goretzka but deffo not guaranteed starters by any stretch of the imagination.

I think there are quite a few teams who can win the Champions League and Bayern is definitely one of them. I wasn’t their best performance despite this they won easily against a dead Barcelona team. For me Bayern, City, PSG, Liverpool and Chelsea are the top favorites

Bayern didn’t perform too good in the beginning as Barca started off with 5 men Defence (which is incredible if you think of Barcelona under pep for example) then all Bayern did was the necessary stuff to win and spare their resources at the same time. Of course Bayern can win the CL, they have the IQ, the experience and the Special Players (lewy, Musiala, Sane, gnabry, …) to make the difference. Expensive young teams like city or psg do give themselves hard times as you can see with ManU against Bern… However this CL Season is gonna be different especially with the fans back in the stadium!

Travelled across germany to leipzig + International break + midweek game in the pokal and on top of that a 1 day delayed flight left very little time to rest for bayern before the matchup. Give them more rest and the result would be much more devastating.

I visited the Camp Nou in 2018 while on holiday with my in laws (part of a day excursion.) As we rocked up, I admit to feeling a tad underwhelmed. It was only as I stepped inside that I was really blown away. An unbelievable experience.
It’s sad to see the state of Barcelona now, but honestly (albeit maybe a bit biased on my part) I don’t think they have been the same without Rakitic.
