- Excuse the black screen for a minute, my screen wouldn’t flip, it won’t stay like that, but this is how I got my eldt and how it wasn’t too expensive or time consuming! Please no judgement I’m not a CZcamsr I just wanted to help others out who didn’t know how to start either!

Please be advised....this only covers the theory portion for entry level driver training. You will still need to complete range (backing skills) and road (driving on public road), before you can get tested for your CDL.

Hello thanks for the info but I have a question after I pay for this and pass all the questions ( I have my CDL and want hazmat/tank endorsement) do I have to pay to get my certification or it will be sent to DMV sorry for the long question
Oh wow! Glad I came across this video! I actually bought the course a few months ago but I ended up not doing it. I then saw they raised the price to $99!! You did it in a day??? I honestly didnt know it was possible or that easy. I thought it would take a long time that's why I procrastinated it 🤣🤣🤣

Hey how long do it take them to sent your Certificate to the dmv or state after completion. I use the same company and haven’t made it yet. I did it on Sunday and tried to take test Today and they said they don’t see it in the system
You're awesome! I tried calling my local trucking school and they wanted $4900. They told me in order to get the eldt certification I had to go through their program or one just like it.

Facts askin for too much money for a course
My driving school here in NY was trying to charge me $350 for Class A ELDT as well as $200 for each endorsement ELDT (Passenger/School Bus/Hazmat). Instead, I went to two separate FMCSA approved sites and in total paid $129 for everything (Class A Theory, Passenger, School Bus, Hazmat). Basically, I saved $821 because I did my research, and the certificates show up on the TPR too. My driving school even has a notice in the store that says that you need ELDT for other endorsements like Tanker, Tow Truck, and Doubles/Triples. That of course is a fat lie as I got those three endorsements on my CDL recently and didn't have to take ELDT for that. I swear, some of these driving schools are run by hustlers and crooks. Anyone trying to get a CDL, I beg you to do your research before you get scammed.

Nope, this is basically for studying , , for the eldt through this website you can’t fail tbh you just have to put in the work

You have to go to a certified school in order to take the road test from what I was told

You may have already answered this question, but what did you use to study for these online tests before you took them?
The online tests you get to redo over and over again until you get passing scores so you don’t have to worry about failing, you just have to reach a certain score to make your percentage go up, all the tests/quizzes are their way of studying basically

do I only need the online version or do I need the behind the wheel to ? is so confusing ? I did my knowledge test today and pass but they told me I have to take the eldt before I can get clp... but every website I go I keep reading behind the wheel is mandatory ..
Nooo behind the wheels isn’t until you have your permit, you have to do the eldt course first, so like in the video just do what I did until you reach 80%
You just have to do the online course it’s basically a study guide and you just have to have a possibility of passing by 80 percent

Is this specific to Georgia? Because here in NY, I was able to take the knowledge tests for the CLP at the DMV, and I just have to do the EDLT training atleast 7 days before the road test, also the edlt is two parts its the online and then you need behind the wheel training from a local drivin school.

So, please clarify this for me
First- take the online course for ELDT
Second- whenever you pass and the school send the passing certificate to the DMV , you can schedule the writing test at the DMV, after you pass you will be granted with the CLP
Now, I have to be enrolled on a school for behind the wheel training and then schedule my driving test at the DMV to obtain my CDL

you can get your CLP before or after. But yes you are right. You need this course in order to be granted access to take the CDL test at the dmv/school/3rd party provider

@@faithkeruboosiemo4624 bro don’t be scared I took the Eldt test it’s Easy.There are 700 questions,the final test is 150 questions and u need to Score 80% .If u study good u shouldn’t be Scared.And by the way you can take the Course ONLINE.
I use Drive Direct Organization.I got the test done in like 5 hours.And it’s ONLINE NO PRESSURE.

I went to the website they have several providers do you have any recommendation on a provider so i can get my certification on my ELDT theory test?
For me I found driving tests.org the easiest /cheapest option that I could do on my own

Hi. Recently I got my cdl permit, and I don’t wanna go to truck school as my friends said they would teach me driving. So can I just do the eldt online and pass the road test with no school, right?
If they let you use their truck yes or so I’ve heard , but a lot of company’s won’t hire without Experience

It’s all part of eldt, you just have to get a certain percentage

So I have a question I did it exactly how you explain in the video I did the test they send me a certification to my gmail and say congratulations that I pass my ELDT but in the page still have 2 more exam is the marathon and the exam simulation I still have to do that or I’m okay with the ELDT I hope someone can help me im confused 😢thanks

Ok this is my third time trying to help everyone out there by giving them the cheapest way to do their ELDT written portion but my comments keep getting deleted. There is a site that only charges $25 for the basic CDL A and $25 for endorsements. I apparently can't say the name of it because my comment will get deleted again. All I can say is the site name is ELDT. You just have to add what most websites end in to reach it. (Can't believe I have to say it this way but hopefully that works now) They also have a CZcams page. The results are instantly posted to FMCSA. I have no affiliation with them. I just want to save new truck drivers money.

You could print out at the bottom, but you shouldn’t have to. They send it to your dmv themselves

There is no final, all the tests are part of a percentage, little things like clicking you read the handbook boost you up, I did the smallest marathon aswell and got the rest of my things closer to 100 , you just basically take them until you pass

I don't want to contradic you but this is my second video about the ELDT and in the other one; thecomments were saying that it can not be done online and also that it was behind the wheel training lol I don't know will keep researching
@@richardr2362 depending on the state you can go get the permit (knowledge) on your own. Before you can do the skills part (behind the wheel) you have to take the eldt training. The school I attended thru the fmsca wanted $300 and its a online course. I found the same course in this video for $69 so yes its done online no matter the school you go to. Hope that helps if you didn't get the info by now.

No you don't have to, what i encourage you to do fisrt is the physical coz without it they won't be able to give you the CLP after you pass the test...
I just got my CDL permit 3 days ago, and now I'm going to do the ELDT.

I don't get the question. But if you're asking about ELDT test, it's all online and you do it at your own pace. The driving part comes way after. Coz now you can't learn to drive a CMV if you don't have the physical which will permit you to obtain your CLP after passing the tests.
I also advise people to get their Physical fisrt while studying to take the CLP test at a DMV, and then take the ELDT test before enrolling to any school or go to any company. That will save you a lot of time. Trust me..!

I have a class A cdl but need hazmat
So you have to get a passing score of 80% or higher? Did the courses allow you to retake any of the test if you failed the 1st time?
Okay so basically each thing you do brings your percentage up, so make sure you click that you read the manual aswell as click that you downloaded everything at the bottom that’ll be an okay start, and then you basically have to do every exam on there towards the classes your taking, plus one marathon or so, every time you do a test and finish go to your bank and go through them or clear them that will also bring up your score, you just have to keep doing as many tests that you can until your percentage goes up to 80
You can take them all as many times as needed, I did them all until each had a passing grade and then I did airbrake marathon, it’s a lot of tests but if you have the patience and are willing to kill it out it’s not bad, pretty sure it’ll help me a lot to take my tests tomoy

Probably but it wouldn’t really help you. It’s basically a study guide, if you google them all and go take the exams you’ll probably fail, if you actually keep doing them until you learn them you’ll already know most of the answers
