Lilith wants to keep their top spender happy, especially after this first merge. Matchmaking won't be balanced. We know this from rok.
Plenty of massive kvks in roks history say otherwise
EXG clearly opted out because they do not want to be matched with top alliances from this batch. starting in 2 weeks means they get younger kingdoms and kingdoms that skipped this registration. it is good strategy, but bad character to be honest. it's like smurfing in ranked.
They are known to be cowards

Dont think the server not the machine be it either pc or phone, for the most part could handle the top 8 together in the same server, it will literally be in thousands of marches from only 2 of them together most likely, you could potentially say that you could see around 5k marches on the field. Tons will bug out/lag out etc, thus further decreasing their chances of finding the war fun as losing troops due to bugs only benefits the strongest in a sense
True, as this could very well happen as well. Though, if they keep some camps to 4 alliances/lower, then it could be more playable.

Only note is that total power of alliances over 1b is not a good way to measure kingdom strength at all. In this game, one alliance of 10b mops the floor with two alliances at 5b, and it isn't close, same with 1x 20b > 2x 10b, etc...
A better way to measure strength is to take all alliance power over 5b, i.e. a 8b alliance counts as 3b, a 12b alliance counts as 7b, etc... Still not perfect, but a much more accurate measure of actual fighting power.
Yeah, I like to show off everything since kingdoms most likely are calculated off the top 300 players as it is in rok, and you may still find even 1 player in a lower powered alliance on the top 300. Ideally the best way would be to grab the top 300 players from each kingdom and do it that way, but that also takes a lot of time. Showing off all the alliances and their power for transparency is what I will always do so everyone can see for themselves. I may consider doing this next time and I appreciate the feedback.
@BOSSNASTi yeah, I think it's good to show all (though I would do 5b, instead of 1b), but when "ranking" the kingdoms by power, it gives a more accurate feel if you account for the fact that two 5b alliances don't equal a 10b
@@BOSSNASTi you should scrape number of players in an alliance. a lot of teams are running leaner with under 200 players and they are being undervalued. NTS has 170 but is number 2 in roots of war registration, and they are far from the only team like that. i would be infinitely more interested in avg power per player stats, like NOIR averaging over 100. i do my own numbers for each matchup and thats the best criteria for how useful a team will be consistently over 5 seasons now
have you considered using a bot to collect data?
i appreciate your work but you dont need to manually collect data.
top alliances have used bots to collect data for wars since forever.
If there is a bot out there that can do everything I can do, I'd love to see the capabilities of it's application.

Dang, I didn't even think of row this time around 🤦♂️. However, if I didn't put this out now, it would have taken me a few days until I did, and matchmaking results may have already been posted

Kingdom power is still the same tho even with row. That’s what will determine the matchmaking

This is for 1-10, 22-90, 213-240, and 277-288 as stated in the beginning
