    Thank for a great explanation! You made it very easy for me and saved me a lot of work and saved me from breaking costly parts. My issue was no air at any speed so I got back there tested the plug coming from the resistor going to the blower and it had very little to no voltage. Then I ran some jumper wires to the motor with a 12v power wheel battery directly and it worked so that let me know it was 100% a bad resistor. Thank you again!

    The exact same thing happened with my 2011 Gmc savana 3500 . Hoping the fix is exactly the same too . Thanks for taking the time…

    So mine turns on and off randomly so I’m assuming the blower motor might be getting stuck? If it was the resister would the fan blow at all?

    Rear speed resistor replaced with new. I tested fan by itself that works. The new resistor clicks when I plug the 4 prong in and out.??

    Front and rear control are the same (actual piece itself)? Looking to purchase new ones. Thanks and thanks again for sharing

      @PYR-Auto  Před rokem +1

      No - they are different. You will need the specific resistor for front or rear

      @@PYR-Auto I was referring to the overhead control panels. Not the resistors. You were clear, brother. Def appreciate the video and returned response. Continued success on your channel 👍🏾

      Unfortunately if this isn’t the issue, the part store won’t give you a refund on the part.

    my front control stopped working on the rear air on my 2002 suburban LT. I have a different control module which I just replaced. I can control the temp and fan speed with the rear air control in the back seat, but no control on the front controller for the rear. If I swap out the rear air resistor will it solve problem?

    • @PYR-Auto
      @PYR-Auto  Před rokem

      I don't think that will help if everything works as normal when using the controls in the back seat. Sounds like it may be an issue with the front controls themselves

    So when there is no motor blowing at all and fuse is ok the first thing is the rear resister then?

    • @PYR-Auto
      @PYR-Auto  Před 3 lety

      It could be the blower motor as well but yeah a bad resistor can behave that way.

    New coolant not flush
    All valves are good
    The intake valve and return to the heater core do get hot not sure what tempatur

    I replied that and the rear still doesn’t blow, fuses are good, blower fan is good. What else is there to replace?

    • @PYR-Auto
      @PYR-Auto  Před 2 lety

      If the resistor, the blower and the fuses are all good for the rear then I don't know
