- @FireBladeFedy came to California to pay respects to @BadKittyTime He rented a Zero SRS electric motorcycle and let me ride it. It's pretty quick. Definitely faster than my Honda Grom. But the following day we learned that it is not as fast as my BMW S1000RR.

that zero is noooo joke yo! they will fully wheelie but i think the rental place had it locked so you cant turn off traction all the way but they totally have the power

Batteries are what makes it heavy

Ive put 50k miles on mine in 3 years.
Basically, acceleration and speed-wise, you are God Of Traffic below 100mph.
Above that, problems come fast. The battery will thermal limit after a couple minutes, and slow you down. And if it doesnt you will soon deplete it.
Metaphorically its Traffic Superman and Kryptonite is sustained high speed.
Also to get full power you need to pair the app and create a custom mode.
Even more acceleration can be had by turning off traction control. Trust me. Do not do that.

only a tesla dual motor can beat 150ft-lbs torque in sport mode. my busa is quick, but not like my SRS.
