I love this!! I am from CO and I actually want to go to U of Oregon to major in journalism! But I’m kinda worried about moving so far from home.. any advice?
For me, I tried to replace nerves with excitement - think about all the reasons why you are excited to go to Oregon and college! and make sure you make yourself get out of your comfort zone and talk to other students right when you get there to make friends - everyone is nervous and wanting to meet friends especially in the beginning of freshman year so take advantage of that! Personally, i am from OR and for to school in CO and have found they are somewhat similar which is helpful as well and have loved going out of state. Congrats on U of O! -Jamie
