This is how madness begins
So you made a chip...
...that screams
LOL!
RimstarOrg truly odd Bruch of a potato
end my suffer, papa
eat me
Oh that's how a ubisoft sever are made ;-)
LOL
Cravings are up. Lays would have been glad to sponsor this. Go get your $
I started cracking up when it came out of the bag screeching. EEEEEEEEE!
Cool! Your videos are always so fascinating and creative. Thanks for sharing!
Nice stepper box.
Absolutely disgusting...unsalted chips...the horror...
Nice idea i also love making circuits using everyday items for the board.I just finished making a static detector using beer caps.
Nice video!
Cool use for a couple of chips.
my mind is now blown. Thank you for blowing up my brain sir.
The bad news- I forgot to turn on notifications and YT didn't show me any of your videos for about a year.
The good news- I have lots of awesome videos to watch!
Cute and clever!
Funny! and Fun!. HA! Great video.
Thanks Todd! Yup! All in the name of fun.
Haha excellent....a tasty design there.
Say, there was a circuit a few years ago where you could use bananas as keys, to play notes on a 555 circuit. A whole new genre of sound creation could be created - Kitchen Music
Talking food, with an accelerometer to know when it's been picked up. "Go ahead! Peel me! See if I care... Ouch!"
If it had a laser diode then the food could defend itself.
Making electronics out of food, funny experiment but still quite interesting!
I kinda did it just for the "chip" idea but now that you mention it, thinking food in general opens up all sorts of ideas. Has to be clever though - like microchip/potato chip. e.g. For meat would you make it say Hi! so that you could "meet the meat"?
I know ir's a potato chip and all but can it hackintosh?
Why?
Fun. It's been on my todo list for a while. And this month's video had to be a simple to make one since I'm on vacation for the last week.
RimstarOrg thanks for replying big fan your the reason why I got into electronics and you basically got me a 90% in science class for making your crystal radio
Awesome! Congrats!
RimstarOrg thanks
shoud build transistor 555 or simple op amp and use it in videos in future that woud be fun using chips for electronic projects :)
Is April 1 again this year?
screaming chips... My favorite
A cure for people who eat too many chips but can't help themselves :).
Quick Throw it outside. Thing is going to Explode🥶
i subed
Very quirky! :D Reminds me of tortilla Board. Google that one, it's a fun story :D
Yes, This is right.
sir can u give us any circuits which use 5 volt power supply?
The one in this video works with 4.5 volts but will also work with 5 volts. You can find a bigger picture of the circuit on my webpage here rimstar.org/science_electronics_projects/potato_chip_macrochip_w_555_timer_circuit.htm.
Well I couldn't eat those with Cod and mushy peas. Oh right, crisps! I think I should do a classic LM386 amplified chocolate cake.
Yeah, that's the one flaw in my evil plan... in Britain they're called crisps. I'm looking forward to the amplified cake!
sir where and how can we use this chip?
The only purposes I can think of are making it for fun (which is why I did it), or making one for a practical joke (i.e. put it in a bowl of chips like I did and have it do something).
Next.....
Potatocontrollers......
Now it makes me wonder if CIA puts spy microphones inside potato chips lol :s
Now everyone will hear when i go number 2
Glados
Yo dawg, I heard you like chips, so I put a chip on your chip so you can chip your chip.
looks like lil slush puppy cups
chip, well literally
😎
I will take a potato chip and .....
Eat it !!!!😀
But how does it taste?
I gotta admit, the epoxy tastes a little sweet. :)
The pyramids were macrotechnology technology
but why the bread board is not from bread?
Because. :) Good idea though -- put a circuit on actual bread!
Hmmm... according to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breadboard, they originally used breadboards for cutting bread and so that's where the name came from.
I was going to say you had made the worlds most annoying chip. Then I realised you had a surplus laser diode you didn't include. Lol you will have to try harder next time.
LOL! How do you know my goal wasn't to make the worlds most annoying chip -- force you to eat all the ones on top just to silence it! Wah ha ha! (evil scientist laugh)
Why tho
But why?
visions of GLaDOS.....
smarty syndrome chip.
wat?
second
Funny and educational, but why on a chip?
Is this a play on words? Is this funny because, like a microchip, it uses a potato chip?
Perhaps because it gets attention, like mine for example
Yup. It's a play on words. A macrochip instead of a microchip.
aipril fools?
You'd probably want to change the sound of it while buried in the bag under the chips to something other than ticking, but then it would then be a good April fools trick!
What is this ? advertising fuc..d chips ?
what's the point. seriously you have way too much time on your hands
