Thank you seriously
First time I've heard this band. 👍
Some bands hate CZcams because they want people discover music by themselves
Some bands think that those new medias are great because without them, we couldn't know their existence
And us, metalheads, are thankful to BMP for all these great releases !!
The social-media world is full of nays, like we should bother.
Black metal is about hate...pure HATE and I HATE this f*** yt channel... because I cannot stop listening...and with every new posts I HATE it more...and more! I SAID HATE!!! ;-)
@@Glemt9 I hate hate
The times when people found out on their own are over. Everything is a click away now. This can sometimes be bad but other times it is good. Depending on how everyone uses it. The world is changing, it is always changing.
@@ex43x66 why does YT hate some bands ?
best random click ever !
Same
I agree
Same men \m/
i saw the thumbnail and the words death metal so i though it was going to be deep like philosophical end of the world deep
Same here
The fact that he said in an interview that some of the songs are inspired from the Darksouls Series makes it even more awesome!
Has he come forth? I thought this was a one-man anonymous band, that's the last I heard anyway.
@@jockejocke1 no i dont think so, still unkown to the public mass :P
That's actually how I found out about the band. UMBASA!
Where is the interview?
Link bro
The riff in the second track is insane
Definitely!
Literally one of the best modern black metal riffs I heard

@@sergejarsenic7959 my soul for his glory by behexen has to be my favorite. Shits groovin, whole albums gold
The second song, The Depths, sounds like it was pulled straight off Burzum's 1996 release Filosofem. This album gets better and better with every listen! LOVE IT!
keyboards sounds like Burzum....
The entire album while good is just non problematic burzum
@@The_gift_of_gabe And I'm perfectly okay with that. I'll take bands that don't have their head up their ass any day! Varg is... oof. He's out there from the little I've read.
@@malkaviangrin9440 yeah album reminds me if varg continued doing black metal in that style in current day, i like it alot, lol yeah hes out there, i dont hate the guy, cant agree with most of his ideologies but he made alot of my favorite music
Thank you Black Metal Promotion for keeping us posted with such great music 🖤
They shouldn't give you a heart for your comment but a pentagram
@@ewaldseiland8558 .i
@@ewaldseiland8558 Hey, this is catholic black metal, we don't do those here!
Strong Burzum influence, very good music
the depths is a filosofem ripoff
@@brennendehexe7934 one man's ripoff is another man's pleasantly strong influence. Varg certainly does not "own" his style and we can't really expect him to play anything like this anymore...
@@kartoffelman111 exactly, Varg's style has changed and he'll probably never go back. I'm not into his new shit, I'm more into dsbm and this is up there with Gris and I Shalt Become
@@atheist101 better he never go back to this style, thats call evolution
@Jimmy Kerast Oh, fucking yeeees 🤘🤘🤘
The best black metal album I've heard in years.
And again BMP gathered us here at this glorious day
As I can see from comments below, I'm not the only one who found a strong resemblance to "Filosofem" by Burzum. But in this case I wouldn't call it cheap plagiarism or anything in such a manner. Faidra seems to be more melodic, but still with this specific dark hint remained. I'm glad these kind of pearls are still being created nowadays.
Thanks, the only real influence from Burzum is that keyboard sound i loved on Dunkelheit. Tried to replicate that somewhat.
Deep, dark, atmospheric...not too stressfull to listen while working. Love it.
Just goes to show you black metal doesn't always need to be fast to be amazing
Dude this is the roots !! that how is started I was there!
i love both death and black metal, and death metal doesnt need to be fast to be amazing either, love me some slower old school death doom, if done right
@@ironchump1501please give me some doom death band suggestions
Only those who truly love ABM can understand how precious this band is. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
3:08 Fear Of The Dark
Heck, I was almost about to start the "oh-oh-ohhhhh" live sing along at this part!
i can see it but not really lmao
Holy shit nailed it
Damn!
Absolutely cant hear it
The true black metal continues in 2020!!Amazing!!
You can feel the BURZUM influence, HAILLL!! 🤘🤘
Exactly! I had to scroll quite a while to find someone that realizes it. Absolutely amazing album!
Pure Burzum
So true ! especially around 12 minutes in ~ 2nd track
Feel? This is pure Burzum worship - and I'm all for it :)
@Inside Barry's Mind
*fake swedish accent*
HOLEE SHEET HE CHÄNGED TO SWEDISH?! I THÖUGHT HE WAS NORWEGIAN?!?!
Almost two years since this album was released and i clicked on it by mistake, but... Was the best click ever.
A lot of memories and feelings with this one.
this is tailored so well to what I enjoy; echoing shrills, a bit slower tempo, bitter riffs. And that gotdamn sepia portrait artwork. fuckin brilliant
There is Black Metal to amp you up for some action and there is Black Metal to relax to after work. This is the latter and it's clearly found its audience. BMP delivers all great flavours of the genre and I know we're all grateful for it.
I have no idea why I dodged this album *intentionally* until this day... This album is freakin' good!
Me too! I don't know why.....🤷
Don't compare, just listen but really, listen! Pure Masterpiece, after listening the entire album...
There's an old well at the bottom of the garden everyone avoids. The water tastes like Sulphur too. Whatever lives down there . Was playing this.
I'm totally addicted ... the captivating atmosphere...hypnotic... the front cover i read in a review is a artwork by the 17th century painter Jose de Ribera
San Bartolomé by José de Ribera
BMP introduced me so many great bands through the years, they built a legacy to the TRUE Black Metal History so deep and honorable that even the internet shift which will happen will be unable to erase this from our memories, long live BMP, long live for those who will remember these days.
As a connoisseur of Burzum's creativity, and in particular darkenes black metal, I really like it. A lot was borrowed from Varg. And this is good. Special thanks to BMP.
Hi can you suggest me odinism black metal that is neither satanic or christian
Is this band odinism ?
This
@Inside Barry's Mind No 😄
@Inside Barry's Mind prove it
This album , Faidra is driving me nuts. Pitch black metal. I want to meet these guys or as I know the one man behind this album. He is the modern day Vark Vikernes. I've broken my mind and neck headbanging. Blackestttttt metal I have heard in ages
Burzum it's alive again! The second track is an geniallity
This is like the best dungeon synth Burzum album mashed-up with the best black metal Burzum album, best thing ever
Clicked so fast on "Pre-Order album" my finger almost broke the sound barrier
Finnaly some good bm without the damn behemoth vocals and a normal cover..
This album shows that the people behind it have TALENT. The melodies, the riffs, the vocals, all composed in what i consider one of the best albums of the new metal era
God damn this is some good shit. This is the old school black metal we have been needing. Hail Faidra and the legacy of Burzum for giving this to the world!
That riff and that snare at 0:33
AWESOME
Very Burzum-esque isn’t it?
The Depths 06:38 hits the spot
This reach the deepest place in my soul 🐼
The Depths feels like the rebirth of black metal. The entire album for that matter.
One of the best debutes.....ever!
Album of the year for me. Brilliant!!
Don't know why I avoided this album for so long its really damn good
Excelente material, gracias por compartir ! saludos desde Coahuila-México
6:49 Varg, is that you?
Major Burzum vibes!
@@losxdescabezados you all should listen to RAATE, it's enough burzumish too

@@nakam1chi What happened to this Band?
The best new commer in 2020 and i love this album a lot, im proud to be a swede.
Faidra is a solo project by a guy who wants to let the music speak for itself and leave his true name in the shadows and in mystery.
All i know is that the guy have been in many bands since the 90s and the genre is: Atmospheric/Orthodox Black Metal
You have to be very proud, your country is the best in the world for this kind of music.
Swedish metal is the best. Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹
@@riccardocampus3870 Grazie signore 👍👊🤘
What is Orthodox Black Metal?
Orthodox Black Metal recognizes Satan as a legitimate metaphysical entity, thereby affirming the existence of the christian god while still opposing it, being viewed as a tyrannical god.
@@Micke_K That's really fascinating, I'm not really one to dive too deep into ideologies regarding music but if one's beliefs motivates them to produce music of such high quality then good for them.
Masterpiece.
This is awesome! Just great. 🤘 Many thanks to the best best YT Channel BMP. 🤘🍻
Love this album so much!
Yes, I've been searching for something that sounds this close to Burzum for a long time. Very nice.
Wow. This album was a random find and a happy accident! A new classic.
My respect for this album. I love the music. The voice.. The afmospheric.. The cover album. Great job!! With love from México city

OMG. I didnt know what I was getting myself into! I just clicked play for the HELL of it cause I liked the album art, browsing for something new...... Holy shit.... Little did I know what I was getting into. The first track when the distortion kicks in with the guitar, and then the drums come out from the east side of Hell..... You know its about to take off! Buckle up, cause this is one Hell of a ride!!! 🎸👿🌹
Black Metal Promotion, you don't know how much we appreciate all the albums and songs you upload everyday, it's fantastic! Thank you very MUCH! Greetings from Medellín.
Damn ....I'm crying over the beautiful black metal atmosphere \m/
Among the best Atmospheric Black Metal album I've ever heard after Oath Bound from Summoning & Litourgiya from Batushka for new Millenium album release.
And here I was, thinking this genre was done. This is fantastic!
Black Metal Promotion: we love your channel, always make me discover amazing bands, thank you for hard jobs,, keeping on
I'm so glad that I have this masterpiece on vinyl. Can't wait for the next album
3 30am here in India and this has become my lullaby songs. Headbanging on the bed . Faidra reminds me of Burzum and Drudkh . Black Black metal which I crave
each time i heard this album i figure out the amazing it is
The depths, amazing song
those riffs are sick
Absolutely breathtaking with a hot cup of coffee on a cold Winter morning.
the same here at the moment (only a year later :P)
Quality material whatsoever, though really just validation delivered to anybody who ever wanted Filosofem II.
You came to save all the Burzum fans that were expecting something like this!!!
I havent cried in a loooong timeee but for some reason i did at 11:40 what a masterpiece!!
This is brilliant! I never thought true black metal could emerge after the year 2000...and this is from 2020. Congratulations Faidra! And hail to the promoter!
"A Pact Amongst Wolves" melodic line remind "wildhoney" Tiamat
Was just reminded of the same!
Tak samo! Uwielbiam działalność Tiamatu do Wildhoney włącznie :)

The quality is out of this world. Beside the Atmospheric stunning riffs in this beautiful album. THANKS FAIDRA. THANKS BMP .. keep listening to good music 🎶 .
I am pretty new to black metal.’ I am still in a learning process I believe ! But one thing is for shore this is one of the best albums I have ever listened to. It rips right through me.! And my Neighbours seem to be absolutely enjoying it 💀😂

Dark and beautiful melodies..... Really does put the "atmosphere" into ABM! 🤘🤘
Awesome band and fuckin' beautiful piece of cold, melancholic, Atmpspheric Black Metal🖤 First two tracks are amazing piece of art... Pure, swedish, black gold!
Simply magnificent.
That riff in “The Depths” could well be the greatest Black Metal riff ever!!!
Pretty damn good
This is incredible, black metal lives 🤘🖤 thank you for sharing this, it made my day
the sound of the drums and bass are very good, I really like this band, waiting for more work
I've become addicted to this album... just hipnotising.
Just great ~ old school B.M . Love it
Great music. Superb atmosphere.
This is amazing, I can definitely hear the Burzum influence, as far as im concerned this is perfect! \m/
Me gusto mucho la banda aún conserva las raíces de la vieja escuela . Saludos desde Perú y también para todos los oyentes de la buena música que es el metal
Superb, some of the finest black metal I've heard in years, so happy to hear this it fills my life with joy.
Es increíble que en pleno 2020 se pueda aún encontrar un buen Black. ¡Es un total deleite este álbum! Saludos desde México.
Gracias, BMP.
I love this front to back. Not a single filler song and the subtle synths give the songs a Varg Vikernes sound to them but in a completely unique way. Thank you for the recomendation.
This is to buy, keep playing often. Gonna get my own.
Невероятная мелодичность ! Очень удачный альбом !!!
Особенно в это время года и такую дождливую погоду, просто бальзам.
