Me neither! I thought they were Welsh! But the Celts' traditions, language, and culture expanded to many places in Western Europe. Some places in Switzerland and Northern Italystill speak with Celtic influence. There is one dialect I am familiar with which is "Brianzolo/Lombardo" in the North of Italy, but there are also more!

Besser kann man Folk und Black-Metal nicht zu eine Symbiose verbinden. Wahnsinn, diese Melodien und den leicht melancholischen Gesang. Wer hier nicht vor Begeisterung in die imaginäre Begattungsstarre fällt, dem ist beileibe nicht mehr zu helfen! Das Album läuft bei mir rauf und runter - ich bin total entzückt...
I manage a small forest where I grow a variety of trees, mainly Oaks.
Thanks to Cân Bardd it is literally impossible for me to do any work there without this album stuck in my head.

This is fucking phenomenal. Closing my eyes I get the feeling of insignificense to existance. It is a calming feeling though. Lets me relax and not worry about life stuff so much. Thank you so much for helping me discover music that lets me feel. I don't know what it is about black metal, I am kinda new to the genre, but it is just so incredibly powerful. Is this what music sounds like that was made out of pure passion?

I have a suggestion for you: Minenwerfer - Alpenpässe. That was the first of similar music to these I heard. And I just sat there listening through the whole album without doing anything in the meantime. They really captured the feeling of being eternally swallowed by the snowy mountains while fighting a futile (on an universal scale) war.

masterpiece! i couldn't have imagined an album matching the emotion and beauty of The Last Rain, but Cân Bardd has done it again. enveloping atmosphere, stunning array of energetic vocals, drums and guitar as unrelenting as a running river...this album is like feeling the moss growing over the body, Devoured By The Oak. Instant preorder. Probably my favorite A/EBM band of all time. Thank you Cân Bardd and BMP!

This is fucking amazing, the emotion and the folk interludes. Absolutely the best record so far, Cân Bardd. I adore the nordic atmosphere - even spotted some neofolk-ish throat singing at the beginning of 'Une Couronne de Branches,' gotta love that. You guys nailed it

Just discovered Can Bardd when this album was released. They were set to do a show in London and I decided what the hell, I was gonna go, only to learn the tour was cancelled. What a shame! I really hope something picks up again!
Either way I just bought my shirt and I'm so excited to get it. I would really love the album artwork which is also beautiful to be purchasable in a flag/ banner form, I would definitely buy it.

It really is. Funny thing is this album was a slow burn for me; had to soak in the nuances. The Last Rain hooked me from the start, but this one keeps getting placed on repeat. Can't wait to see what Malo comes up with next. Unfortunately, he said in a recent interview that only a few minutes worth of content have been recorded for the next album.
Man what an insane album! found it yesterday, and I absolutely love every second of it. It sounds like Wintersun if they played black metal. Everything is so magical and the emotions are soo strong. Love it!
