That is very impressive what you have been able to do with your Projector Stand and Short Throw Rig. Very inventive. I would like to try the short throw rig one out myself. I also have two Epson identical projectors but of less quality of the 10000 lumen that you have.
Thank you for this video, this is exactly what I was researching. My projector has the corner keystone, but only one value for each axis. This means I can only make the image "smaller" on one side... I will keep searching
With that type of digital keystone correction, will you still have correct pixel mapping? When using keystone built in to the projector it always distort the pixels. I was thinking about using a method like this to be able to use a ALR screen with my short throw projector without getting hot spots. How much do you need to pay to get a lens that don't distorts the corners? Also, my projectors throw ratio is 1.5:1. What kind of lens would I need to get like 1.6-1.8:1 throw ratio?
Hi! I liked your cheap way of resizing the image to use the lens from along throw projector. The lens use mentioned is out of stock. Can you suggest any other lens ? I am getting 10 feet image from a fixed 20 feet distance and I would like to have the image size half of that. Your reply will be appreciated
Yes if you need the image to be smaller. If you need image to be larger you need the wide angle lens shown in this video czcams.com/video/KjdJwE9pkUo/video.html
Sir amazon is currently out of these will this one work instead 52MM 2.2X Telephoto Lens for Nikon D7100 D7000 D5500 D5300 D5200 D5100 D3300 D3200 D3100 D3000 D3 D300 DF D800 D800E DSLR Cameras it's only $17
Hello everybody! I recently bought a projector from Toumei, mainly the latest version of V5, which unfortunately has no optical zoom, only digital. Unfortunately, the solution in this video is not a happy one for me, it doesn't work. I also bought the lenses and the printed 3d stand but it doesn't work. I probably need another set of lenses. Does anyone have a solution to my problem? I'm trying to reduce the optical image on my Toumei V5 projector
So does the 28% image reduction mean you can do it from 28% further away? I know how to map so image size isn't an issue, I want to be able to project from further away
Hi Tim, I saw another video of yours about Short throw projectors and I really liked your no-nonsense presentation. I DO have a question about THIS video though. I have a cheap 800 (or 900?) lumen projector from China, It's in my room about 2 meters away from the wall I want to use it on. If I were to use your Long Throw projector technique to reduce the image size, do you think image will be brighter than normal?
Yes if image is smaller it will be brighter. Like magnifying glass effect when you focus sunlight into a small area it will be brighter. But why would you want to do that? Your image will be very small.
Thanks so much for replying! I'm asking because I was thinking of projecting screen onto wall NEXT to my monitor (like a dual monitor setup) My LED Screen is 27" - I was hoping to get same size projection but as bright as possible because I'll be using it in a well lit room (so no darkness). (Room is small approx. 14ft lenght and 8 ft breadth). This is my thinking BUT If you have any advice on what I could do instead of my idea let me know. thanks for all your stuff!

What about focus, how does it change?

so cool! Maybe you can answer my question:
I want to change throw ratio fom 1:2 to 1:4 do I need a 2x Telephoto lens? (or will 1,4x be enough?)
Yes if you need the image to be smaller. If you need image to be larger you need the wide angle lens shown in this video czcams.com/video/KjdJwE9pkUo/video.html
