- This is the Martin that everybody should try to get as it’s special .. the X Brace is not forward shifted so it imparts a unique punchy tone which sits in between a modern and traditional guitar tone .. sort of a hybrid tone .

Great review. Having owned a few GS Mini's and the original 000-Jr, I see the same things. GS Mini is a great guitar, but surprising the 000-Jr has more volume and after I good setup, I found it much more enjoyable to play. The upgrades on the SM 000-Jr are great, worth the cost for that nice hard bag and pickup! The humidity problems with the GS Mini are real. I took one to a beach condo for a week and it needed a neck adjustment by the end of that trip. Took the 000-Jr on the same trip this past year and it did amazing.

i like this better due to the size and this one has the looks .. articulate tone but also the punch that is lacking in the fs3 as it’s too scalloped

FMI saddle and nut - if you can’t find them just get unbleached bone saddle and nut

Hi Jarvis! I’m proud to own this guitar; but was wondering, if you know where the hidden lyric locations can be (other than the obvious side of the body interior), I can’t find mine!

I asked, it can be anywhere. You may try to use a mirror, mine is hidden on the back, under the hole😅
Using your phone’s flashlight, look in the soundhole on the inner rim on treble side (closest to lap).

Got the 000CJR-10E........first thing. Changed those retro strings to MA535. Sang and played like a songbird.

Played this recently and was great. You know why.... Other than solid woods, it uses sapele which imo is a better tonewood than mahogany.
Unpopular opinion but I totally agree. Less muddy sounding which I always get unless you’re but a d18 or something expensive
