Ya'll had great portfolios before me :) Now they're just blurier
@@BenMarriott and grainier
@@BenMarriott and 12 fps
So awesome of you to give a shout out to the Texturelabs channel... You're a wizard and a great dude! Excellent vid as always!
You're the wizard my friend!
@@BenMarriott @Texturelabs You BOTH are breathtaking!
The Rolls-Royce of blurs and the Rolls-Royce of tutorials. Lovely stuff mate.
I watched the PS tutorial about this a couple weeks ago and it's nice to see the community's skills and techniques being shared and implemented across the different programs and platforms! Cheers!
Thanks so much dude! :)
@@BenMarriott @ECAbrams Have you gents considered doing a collaboration video?
These tutorials are like watching magicians explain their tricks: at first you don't have no idea how that's possible, than you start to get it, and after watching it looks so simple that you feel dumb for not getting at first. Thanks man!
It actually takes in depth knowledge about the subject to make it look simple.
As if Ben's just giving away _amazing_ tutorials for free.
*FOR FREE!!*
Ben coming in clutch with the snazzy effects
Snazzy as ever! Thanks for watching :D
I'm mainly self-taught when it comes to motion graphics, and your channel has been one of the biggest parts in my learning journey. It helps me a lot in creating contents for my channel, and for that, I can't thank you enough. Always look forward to your fantastic tutorials! ❤️
Hell yeah! Last time you pumped out an effect like this I used it in 3 separate client projects! Can't wait to see who I get to do this kind of stuff for! 👀
I absolutely love this. I've made myself a custom Stream Starting & Ending screen using it and adding some drips I recorded of ink running down paper and it looks amazing. Thank you so much for your tutorials! They teach me so much!
This tutorial is superb! I can see myself using this technique A LOT! Thanks so much, Ben!
I was waiting for this tutorial since I started using Fresco!
You're amazing, your techniques and easy solutions are incredible :D
Ben! Thank you so much for this. I saw that texture labs video last month and I was trying to do it as an animation. I went with the janky way of saving the image after each "action" and importing them as an image sequence in premiere. Your method is so much better I thank you, love your videos.
Ben Literally gives me ideas for music videos with every tutorial. so good!
I cannot wait to use this. Thanks Ben!
we need a time-lapse/speedart of you making an animation ( doesn't matter which one ) and commentating over it talking about the ups and downs while working on it !
Ooooo, that's a great idea. I love it
Good shout.
Ben this is just mindblowing! Thank you for sharing this tip!
Love your videos Ben! Thank you so much for sharing!
This is exactly how a tutorial should be! No fluff just good information. Thank you
Wow!! The "Find Edges" effect really makes a substantial difference. I never knew it existed or what it does.
Great tutorial Ben!! Excited to use this.
this is shockingly impressive. amazing resourcefulness!
And yet it still amazes me how simple parametric effects can create so many different styles
Been waiting for a selective blur tutorial, didn't realize until just now that this is it!! THANK YOU BEN!
Have been waiting for this tutorial 🙌🙌
OMG ! you're a real wizard. ✨💕
your tutorial is magnificent as always
this is absolutely genius. Thank you so much
Love it! I just key framed the fractal noise slightly also and it added a cool little effect
why is your work awesome?
You're too kind!
@@BenMarriott well that was quick
TextureLabs love! Clicking on the video, I was hoping it'd be something inspired by their tutorial.
So glad to see the love here!
That looks really cool!
When I saw this Photoshop effect from texture labs, I tried to make something like this and it didn't work well. I think your method is better than the one I can up with :)
Class work, Ben! Saw Texturelabs' vid for the PS one, great interpretation of it in AE.
Right? I got so confused seeing this was a new video when I thought I must have seen this before.
Pure gold! You're amazing!!
Awesome Tutorial, as always!
Omg this is literally so helpful! I would've never thought to do this. Thank you for the tutorial!
ultra useful thanks Ben
Thank you so much for sharing all these!!Loveeeeeeee
This is magical! Thanks!
this is sick! i saw the texturelabs one and my mind was blown, thanks for translating it to ae!
Outstanding!!!
YES M8. Thank you so much for doing this - I was blown away by the original and was just too busy to think about trying it in AE. I think I'd do the find edges slightly differently - possibly by manipulating the blur map instead of the final output.
Good job 👍👍
Oooo, that's a clever idea!
Thanks Ben, I'd definitely use it in my project!!
S Tier Tutorial! Thanks Ben!
fantastic result
Definitely a useful video, your videos are always very informative. Thank you very much Dude!
Another fantastic tutorial! You are a godsend on CZcams. Thank you!
Rolls-royce of blur
I wouldn't want to blur with anything else
He is amazing, I really love you. I was making a poem about watercolors and this is perfect for my poem intro. I WILL LINK YOU IN THE POEM.
Wow this looks freaking awesome! Thanks Ben
Thank you SO much
I love your tutorials!! Such amazing content!!

You're the real MVP Ben!
this is so easy and awesomeeee
Thank you Ben ! I haven't had fun fooling around AE tweaks after watching a tutorial in a while.
Damn Ben, this is such a elegant, simple solution for a GREAT looking effect! Thank you so much!
awesommee!! dude thank you soo much!!! think this will help incredibly!
So good mate!
Love it.
wow its super cool
You are doing a fabulous job. Keep it up and thank you! Love from India 🙌🏻

Amazing stuff Ben... Please make more !!!!!
Brilliant. Love that you love TextureLabs too, Brady is a real genius with PS.
An absolute wizard!
Thanksss!
Great one
you and Andrew Kramer are heroes of AE.
Thanks a lot man
Yeahh... New tut time ..... Excellent effect 👍☺️👍☺️
Thanks mate :D
Dude! Wow. Thanks.
We love you, Ben!
Yer fekin amazing! Mate.
Thanks so much for the resourceful video!
Very cool :) thanks.
That is just brilliant! I'm a huge fan of Texturelabs, but the displacement map method creates a certain amount of banding (even in 16 bit), whereas using the lens blur instead bypasses that issue entirely (albeit adding some waiting time to the processing). Liked and subscribed!
ang galing salamat
That's a pretty clever way of using the caméra Blur 👍
awesome!
Thnx 💓
Awesome!
thanks for giving texture lab a shout out
Thank you, Ben! Thank you so much for good job! Magic :)
Great video 👍😊
Woow!!!! Awsome...
I watch your videos with the same energy as I used to watch ben10 back in the days...
Damn dude.. nice! Will use it for sure!
Genius
Texturelab is great!
So clever and thank you;)
