I completely agree with you that rough animator is the best bang for your buck with animation apps. Flip a Clip doesn't compare even closely I can only make gifs on flip a clip and they blamed my storage capacity, which wasn't the case. Krita is a neat program that I keep around, but you really do need a solid software foundation for that. For simplicity, cost, extra's like importing my tools from arts rage, versatility, storage, Rough animator is the best

I can't trim the copy of the footage. You show this at around 12:00 in, but I cannot grab and trim the video at the start to 12 frames in. There is no grab handle for me. I've tried this twice from the very beginning and do not know what I'm doing wrong. Complete newbie here. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hello, everyone. I'd like to add another one that maybe someone knows the answer to: When I link a color from a precomp to a color controller in the Main comp it tells me the adjustment layer I applied the color control effect to does not exist or was moved, etc. When I try it with a layer that's not precomposed, it works. Also, when I try to do it again, across comps in a new project this time, it works. Has anybody encountered this? It seems like the problem is with my particular project. But why? EDIT: damn, I figured it out a few minutes later. After staying up until 4 AM yesterday feeling hopeless about my well linked and all encompassing color control... so it turns out I had an imported project folder inside the project. The main comp is named the same "!MAIN". That probably confused After Effects in the code, haha.
