- In this video I show how updating my baseboards with some coats of fresh white paint made my whole living area feel and look more updated, clean, and bright. This whole process was fairly easy, simple, and affordable. Make the switch to a more modern, up-to-date look with a few quick steps. Enjoy!
Paint color: Palais White (Home Depot)
I have an older house with darker wood trims everywhere. It's been 10 years that I have contemplated painting the trims. I will finally paint the base trims. Your video is the only one that I have found that have white base trims mixed with door and window wood trims, which will be how my house will look like. I really appreciate it! I am so excited now!!

I have the same issue in my home, brown hard wood with brown baseboards from the mid 80s. Some people argue to stain the baseboards a darker shade. I'm with you on this one, the white looks way better and cleaner too!

Nice job and I was curious to see how it turned out. Tip for others is that it’s often better to use caulk, spackle, filler after the primer coat partly because primer is great for showing up imperfections more clearly than dark varnish but also because primer provides better grip for whatever filler you are using. They turned out great though in this video 👍🏻

Thanks for the video. I'm buying a new house and all the baseboards, window trim, and chair rails in the living room, dining room, and hallway are brown wood, but all the bedrooms have white trim. I don't care for the brown.

Your wooden trim is like mine and I'm debating on whether or not to do my door frames and window sills. Unfortunately I cant paint the doors since I rent but I'm also considering coving them with contact paper

For the best look start in a corner and brush into your work (wet paint) not from your work out. Good look.
Instead of tape use newspaper on the floor :) it’s cheaper and wider

Good job. I wouldn’t have changed the color though. The brown baseboard matched with the trims and doors. My other option would have been to paint the baseboards same color than the wall. That’s just me. Thanks for your video.
All my interior doors, windows and trim are painted army green throughout my house!! I want to sell my house, and I have to get rid of all this ugly!!!
