I used to put together AMT and Revell car kits when I was a kid in the 60s and 70s but never with this much detail.
Question, where do you get your sanding sponge and sanding sticks? I can't find em and the ones I did find were out of stock.

Why do you mark the panel lines and then sand the body down?
He marks them to show the mold line. Once the marker is gone the mold line is gone. Marker is a reference in case his eye doesnt catch it.

Hey Tom, i am trying to fill up some holes on my models that are mainly for the spoilers but since i don't like the way they fit the car... What can i do to fill up this holes that were there for the spoilers?
Fill it with some styrene(plastic) and super glue sand it smooth and aply primer, maybe add some model filler on top after and sand it smooth again.

I bought a tamiya Mitsubishi GTO and its my first model car (got it for $13). What do you use on the flooring of the car? The grey powder one? And is shoe glue or wood glue okay to use on the clear and chrome parts?

Its not tape. It is BMF(Bare Metal Foil) you can find it on ebay etc

I still think it's kinda sad that the wheels don't turn. I know it's not meant as a toy but it is still a car, which I think should be able to roll. Is there no way to make them turn when building these kits? Also, why do you choose models of which the doors cannot be opened? You put so much effort in painting the interior as realistic as possible (even in places you would never see if the doors could be opened) but in the end you can only see so much

Sure there is always a way to do something like that, but it would take a lot of time in engeneering modifications and scratch building. For me that is time wasted as i don't care if they roll or not. For me they are static models. I don't chose models with opening doors as there are not that many, and just like the rolling wheels. it is also not something i care to much about either. I build models for the fun of building and to make my imaginations reality.
When you think about it, i don't care all that much about anything........ Just kidding :P

Where did you get the Z28 wheels? The normal SS wheels are all that I keep seeing in the kits. I'm trying to build a replica of the wife's Camaro and she has Z28 wheels like these.
