With MPI there is virtually no buildup at all. Amazing!
Exactly, is your engine MPI?
@@GetJobDoneofficial Unfortunately no. Just DI, it is at 80k miles and the cylinder is starting to misfire here and there.
Mine is 18years old (1.6 16V) and 230 000 km. It takes 0.7L per 10000km running fine no carbon in egr or in oil separator. The only thing that you shoud clean is throttle budy every 30k km
@@sebek23b Do you have DI? What engine you have? My engine inside was like moon surface or coalmine after 180k km.
Another awesome in depth informative video fam .Hope to see more videos on the ea888 motors
Spanner for the HPFP is a 17. Not 18. And as you can see, there is no need to clean the valves. 4 injectors in the manifold are doing their job. Nice Video, calm and correct way to remove the manifold.
Thanks for watching and the correction! Take care!
No dual injection for the US unfortunately. Just DI.
I use BG products on my 2014 VW Passat SE w/roof, 1.8 EA888 gen 3 with toptronic trans with 139, 374miles.
Best car I've owned. Runs great
Great vid. Always going to get some buildup in the ports and swirl valves etc, that is the nature of all modern ICE with emissions systems we now have to have, its only on the back of the valves that really matters performance wise and the extra port injection is certainly doing an excellent job
Thank you for this video, you explain so much in every step, good filming.
The second row fuel injectors is low pressure, that why its made from plastic. Hope it explains.
Best option in to place a catch can to prevent carbon build up.
Thank you for your comment mate appreciate that! Thankfully car had no build up and that's the best thing about this engine.
How does the oil catch work in the cold winter months we have in the UK as we live in a typical colder climate and I've heard the catch cans get alot of condensation in the winter and this causes problems in the intake with water being absorbed. How do you get rid of condensation build up?
You can't. All the mess in the catch can is 95 condensed water. So it freezes in Winter. Desaster waiting to happen, if you don't defrost it or empty it weekly. Stupid invention. The PCI valve does the same thing.
Nice job.👌👍
I got a Seat Ateca 2.0Tsi, Motorcode CZPB, Bulid in 2018.
This Engine also got the dual injection.
I have got now about 25k km on and it s good to see, that the intake of your engine looks so good after all this mileage.
I've always asked myself how the engine behaves in relation to carbon buildup. What I can see now, there is no reason to worry.
Additionally I use fuel additives like Basf Keropur for petrol engine.
Greets from Germany
Thank you for your kind comment. It sounds as you are looking after your Seat so much - thats amazing. If you are on instagram tag me @getjobdone so I can see your car - all the best brother!
Thank you for that video.
My pleasure!
The opf vehicles came with no additional fuel rail for mpi. My 2016 cupra 290 also comes with the mpi fuel rail. I have the CJXH engine
Hopefully EA888.4 can modified to add port injectors (but probably not for a while since ecu hasn't been cracked without piggybacking it like using JB4).
gen 3 seem easier to take out by the looks of it. looked clean proper for that mileage.
Super clean, dual injection does magic!
Hi, thank you for the Video. I have a question. Do you know if there is a connection between manifold and crankcase. My car has an CJEB engine and it has a very high underpressure in the crankcase. The PCV valve is new and the problem is still there. Thank you very much in advance.
So no matter if you have dual injections Port you still get carbon buildup on your intake valves?? 🤔 I always wonder if the port injection cleans out the entire intake valves or just half of it ?? Thanks again
Only Europe got the port injectors for some reason. Used in VW, Audi, and Macan.
I wish the USDM engines got the port injection as well. I added wmi to my ea888 and it keeps the valves clean as well.
Wmi?
@@RipPhillips Water methonal injection.
@@bleach_drink_me how's that holding up?
Interesting how to, didn't realised the E888 was also use in that configuration.
Yes it has both: MPI on port and then second line - Direct Injection just like Gen 1 and 2..gen 3 is definitely interesting one..
@@GetJobDoneofficial unfortunately the US version EA888 gen 3 doesn't have MPI
my engine code is cncd, checked on etka and it seems i do have mpi as well. but last time i checked, intake valves had a lot of carbon built on them. do you think that there is a problem with the system? it has 165k kms on the clock.
The new 1.5 tsi 150 hp does have dual injection ?
Which code
DADA
Has a 1.5 tsi dual injection?
How much would that repair cost?
Was kostet so eine reinigung ?
Is gen 3 not dual injection?
Oops . Yes it's dual injection🤣
Not in the US
