It's sad that my PM visited war-torn Ukraine but never visited his own Indian state of Manipur for once.
No wonder why even the Meitei regions elected a non-BJP candidate this Lok Sabha election 2024.
So, sad that he cares for photo-ops and chills in Lakshadweep but ignores his own people who wish he resolves their woes.
I wish Kuki and Meitei realise that they have to come together for peace and not be dependent on our PM who doesn't even care for their being.

The response of the government made no sense at all. It was a criminal breach of faith on part of the center. The PM did nothing even after it was all over the news.
At least they can create a fund to help the affected families, no consolation for not stopping the violence when they could.

Most Meitei casualties happened in and around Kuki villages; and almost all Kuki casualties happened in Kuki villages and in the heart of Imphal Valley.

Meitei comprises of 54%in population while Kuki16%...In the beginning of the conflict,,the Meiteis from kuki areas are could safely returned home ..While the kukis in State capital Imphal suffered brutal deaths caused by mob..(more than 200 kukis death)+ 300 plus churches destroyed..The deaths on the meitei side is mostly through the attack on kuki village,the kuki have never launched an attack so far..while defending village cause the deaths of numbers of meitei militants.

We as an Indian are really really sad about what happened in Manipur. I don't know why our ministers are doing this but it's not right at all, PM should visit Manipur ASAP and solve the problems. It's even hard to see the pain coming out from this video but nobody doing anything about this matter is more worse, I don't know as a Indian what should I do for our Manipuri brother's and sisters else showing my sorrow and praying to god for their health with help them keeping strong. I am a bjp supporter from Assam but this is really heartbreaking. Manipuri people are the most nice,polite and friendly people I've ever met, I've many Manipuri friends. Many of them are working here in Guwahati in various sectors and living a comfortable life. But whatever is going in their home state from last one year is really shameful and horrible for our ruling govt. No solution,no proper response,no proper addressing of the issues there 😢. From TN. I don’t fully understand the reason behind this violence.Hope and pray our brothers and sisters from Manipur get lasting peace. For starters the government should financially help the families destroyed by the this. It was heart breaking to see the young ones who lost their parent. The govt failed the people during the incident, least they could do is get the families recover, far better then money spent on building statues.
