The amount of damage it caused between Meitei and Kuki is irreversible! Not going to blame them but the government actually has the greater responsibility for this situation. My condolences will have no effect whatsoever but still I hope there will be peace as soon as possible. I have friends from both the community and they all together were very supportive to each other’s , I pray to see them together once again. If that actually happened, it was not intentional. Ask the ones they save. And why do they (meiteis) always leave behind their aged parents and grandparents. Many cases of kuki people taking care of them and safely reuniting them with their families. In this case too, many were put to safety instead and they(the alleged grandma's family) should not have left her with doors locked outside. There's something called war ethics. In this violence, both the communities have suffered and lost lives. However, one has to admit that kukis have suffered the most. The Kukis started the violence in the wake of a so called peace rally in which many armed miscreants also took part. They started killing Meiteis and burning and looting their homes. The aggression was premeditated but the Meiteis had no inkling and it all came as a shock. The Kukis did it in repercussion to the Manipur government crackdown on poppy plantations and forest land encroachment carried out by the Kukis. Since the CM is a Meitei they considered all the Meiteis enemies.

If that actually happened, it was not intentional. Ask the ones they save. And why do they (meiteis) always leave behind their aged parents and grandparents. Many cases of kuki people taking care of them and safely reuniting them with their families. In this case too, many were put to safety instead and they(the alleged grandma's family) should not have left her with doors locked outside. There's something called war ethics. Women, children and aged not even men without weapon(civilians), unless they attack are ever intentionally harm. The kukis stand by it and fears the Lord.

The Kukis started the violence in the wake of a so called peace rally in which many armed miscreants also took part. They started killing Meiteis and burning and looting their homes. The aggression was premeditated but the Meiteis had no inkling and it all came as a shock. The Kukis did it in repercussion to the Manipur government crackdown on poppy plantations and forest land encroachment carried out by the Kukis. Since the CM is a Meitei they considered all the Meiteis enemies.
