2022 BMW M850i xDrive Gran Coupe: Start up, Exhaust, Test Drive, POV and Review

- 👋 In todays review we get behind the wheel of the 2022 BMW M850i xDrive Gran Coupe! What a luxurious sedan this is or "coupe" with nice flowing lines on the exterior and even having the carbon fiber accents! Those make there way into the interior and mixed with the brushed aluminum and leather, has a very upscale interior! The driving experience is phenomenal with it's handling and power! For the weight, you really can't feel it, very planted in the turns, the x-drive all wheel drive system provides the car with tons of grip and the M sport brakes do there job as well! It's a comfortable car to drive in comfort, very quiet and well insulated and then when you pop it over into sport mode, the exhaust note comes to life! It's not crazy loud, but you can hear those pops on downshifts! The interior just has a nice feeling to it, the seats are comfortable, the infotainment system is easy to use and there are tons of nice features! This would be a great daily for the practicality it has but also for the fun driving experience!

I'm from a stereotypical "BMW family." My dad just took delivery of a 2022 M850i coupe in black with the full tartufo brown interior, last month. His vehicle is an absolute beauty and a blast to drive! I love the new 8 series. I trade my M3 for his car every now and then for a weekend!

looked at one of these compared to a M550i and it is more car, might not be as quick as I think its heavier than the 550... but I loved it very much, might be in the cards for me

tbh i think Coupe M8 looks a bit better, more sporty and less M5 vibes, but that's just preferences, still an amazing car
Yea, the gran coupe does a great job getting the design to be similar but they will always look off compared to the coupe! Still a great looking BMW!
Is the BMW M850i x drive a petrol engine?
Yes, as shown in the video its a gas engine. I don't even think another version is available in the USA for this car. No hybrid or diesels here
I dont think these are LED lights.... i think all 8 series are equipped with Laser lights.
I can’t remember if the laser lights are optional, but most BMW’s do have the laser lights.
