I’ve always said “Just when you think you know what Dimash can do...BOOM! “ He drops even more technical skill, shock and awe on us. I agree, his best performance to date. And just an FYI, I pretty much say that every time I see a new performance from him.
I think you would appreciate the significant difference a year made in his performance of SOS from The Singer China 2017 to the same song performed at The Slavic Bazaar this year. Thank you for the reaction. The man at the keyboard wrote this song for his group and it was very popular in Russia and Kazakhstan, but the lead singer died some time ago. He asked Dimash to come to Russia and sing the song, giving it new life.
It was not the dead singer, but the guy at the keyboard who asked Dimash to participate as guest at the tribute to A-studio, the band which has been successful for 35 years or so. at the opening of New Wave, a competition for young pop singers which was televised on Russian TV.
