Thanks for watching I hope you enjoy/enjoyed the video. Everything is in the description. If you have any questions please leave them in the comments. More videos coming soon. Happy New Year!
Should put the red dot on the barrel, not the slide. The barrel determines which way the bullet travels, the slide and barrel have enough wiggle on the frame to make the slide mounted optic less accurate.
Thanks, I appreciate the comment.
Editor: Hope u all enjoy/enjoyed the video we are working hard to be more consistent going into the new yearđđŸâš
I know ammo is hard but please keep doing desert eagle videos this one is great huge congrats on the deagle and happy birthday safe travels to you đ€
Thanks for watching and subscribing, I'm actually taking it to the range soon. Since ammo prices has come down a little bit. LOL :-).
Iâve never seen red dots not using the mounted barrel Picatinny rail⊠with it on the slide I figured the recoil may mess with the zero , No? Love the accuracy đ
LOVE YOUR ATTITUDE! Great video sir. I have the 44mag (Corruptifornia) and I just put on the 50AE, can't wait to get it to the range.
Great video! I appreciate the info on the ammo in particular, finding the right stuff to feed can sometimes be irritating! Keep it up!
Thank you so much man, I appreciate it. Trying to continue to bring more videos, Please pass it on to anyone you think maybe interested.
Fire video just came over from RGG channel. Never was a big fan of pistol RDS mounted with plates. But this definitely fits that DE well.
đthat live was something else
Great video bro
I'd say just about the ultimate birthday gift! I have one in matte chrome, and I replaced the OEM sights with Millet adjustable target sights, which made a huge improvement in accuracy. I'm not surprised the Hornady ammo functioned so well for you, but a bit surprised the Speer didn't do quite so well. Amscor is made in the Philippines....so...enough said. I replaced the rubber grips with Hogue hardwood grips for a more classy look. BTW my handloads function very well in my DE. Semi-auto pistols, especially this gas-operated one, can be very finicky about ammo.
Bro very very DOPE!!!! Looking forward to more.
Thank you my brotha, I do have more reviews dropping real soon.
I bought an ADE optic a couple years ago for another israeli product :), it was supposed to have an RMR footprint but it was waaaay off, at least an inch longer. Sent them a letter about it and they told me to pretty much pound sand. As it wouldn't fit any footprint, I had to use it exclusively with the picc base. That said, seems like its quality glass if it held up to the recoil on the slide on the 50 :). Thanks for the vid!
Great vid my brotha! I'm gonna have to brush the dust off and get back on the range to catch up.
Great video, now I know how Iâll be setting up the black and gold one I own, thanks
No problem, I appreciate you checking out my channel/Video.
Great video, excellent sound and illumination.
The pistol in Bronze finish looks very nice too.
You did some fancy shooting and provided great commentary.
The only thing I cringe about is your T-Shirt. DEAGLE????
Sorry, I really dislike when people refer to these guns by that name; seriously, that's a name videogamers came up with, mostly due to copyrights issues, alongside many other less flattering ones, just because the game publishers were too cheap to pay MAGNUM RESEARCH its due royalties.
You are probably the first owner I've seen showing that name, although you never really used it in your video.
On the other hand, maybe I'm just too set in my ways to accept that name now. I have owned my DESERT EAGLE MK VII for two decades now, so there you go.
Anyway, nice example of the DESERT EAGLE you have; wish you enjoy it for many years, always in good health.
Thanks for the comment, I really do appreciate it and for the shirt that was really the only shirt I could find with a Desert Eagle on it so I just grabbed it off of Amazon, appreciate the history on it though.
Desert eagle looks so cool, but I'll have to go with a revolver just to keep the casings from flying out to reload later or that's the plan lol
Awesome review, how did you remove the rear factory sight and if you used a punch or sight removal tool which direction to push with the barrel facing away?
Hey I appreciate you checking out my channel, I used a punch tool and punch block I have with my firearm tool kit, I punch it out from right to left but it doesnât matter you can remove it either way.
Very informative! I tried one a couple years back. Not sure if it was the 50AE but I know the recoil was to remember. Anything more powerful must a pistol that fires RPGs.
With this red dot setup, how many yards would you be confident using it it for hunting?
I need one black and black gold model L6
How is the optic holding up? Just got my DE and was looking to get your setup.
Hey thanks for watching and the Optic is holding up pretty good, no issues but keep in mind I don't shoot it a lot. Only 20 rounds at a time when I do take it to the range. Box of 20 was $80 bucks at one time, think it's $65 now.
I slapped a Holosun on my .44mag D E. I have it rear mounted as well. My sight was tuned in well when I first mounted it on my eagle but now it's too high and I ran out of elevation to tune it down to match round placement. I'm not sure what's going on. I'm shooting too high and the reticle isn't matching round impact. Any thoughts.
Did the plate loosen over time and u had to keep tightening the set screw? Bc that could change the angle. The only way it shifted zero is if the plate walked out of zero. Holosun probably isn't the issue
Perhaps it needed to be broken in to get through the cycling problems.
I looked at their website but the mounting plates donât specify desert eagle. Which one did you buy? Could you share the specific link?
Hey thanks for checking out the video, sorry for the late response but I believe I put everything in the link below in the video.

Would love to have one of those shirts. Where could I get one
Got it off of Amazon.
@EasyTTactical Thanks, I love my desert Eagle 50 AE. And I've got my plate ordered. So I can move my optic back on the rear of the gun.
How did you get that red dot mounted on the slide did you send it somewhere?
Hey Massive Action thanks for watching, I have my own gunsmith tools and did it myself.
I wonder how it'll hold up with time and rounds shot thru it I want to do that to mine
Are you referring to the red dot? I know with the cost of the rounds, probably wonât be shooting it a whole lot, wheeeww 50 AE rounds are expensive and hard to get.
@@EasyTTactical lol yeah same here! Just wondering if the plate will move around after a handful of shots
@@wgp8ntballer I seriously doubt it, that plate is set in there pretty tight, tighter than the original plate for the fixed site. I used my gunsmith press tool and also tapped it to get it centered.
Does it keep zero after shooting? I'm looking at doing the same thing, i'm just wondering if it shakes around too much
So far after I zeroed it, the few more times I have taken it to the range it has kept zero, don't take it much, because of how expensive the rounds are.
@@EasyTTactical Thanks for the reply, I appreciate your insights!
Where did you get the optic mount?
I bought the Optic mount at EGW, left the url in the comments of the video. www.egwguns.com/vortex-viper-venom-desert-eagle-post-2017-sight-mount-fits-burris-fastfire-and-docter
How long does it take to get one if you order it
I ordered my Desert Eagle from KYGUNCO and from the day I ordered it 13th, until the time it arrived at the FFL gun shop 22nd in my area in VA it took 9 Days and this was around the holidays when shipping was really busy.
@@EasyTTactical every place I call says they canât order it or shipments are taking over a year
@@EasyTTactical hey bro, what area of Va are you in? I just ordered me the Tungsten DE 50AE. I should have it next month. You near Richmond?
You can not feed your DE Armcors or Freedom Munitions 50AE the weapon will not cycle correctly
Ok, thank you, that is good to know. Appreciate you checking out my video.
THATS A BIG @** GAT!! LMAO!! What's your recommendations for a First Gun? Thanks.
Hey my brotha Ant? Man itâs so many choices, if this is for yourself I recommend a 9mm, and it depends on your budget on which brand and model to get. Hit me up offline and we can talk about it some more. Thanks for tuning in my brotha!
@@EasyTTactical Roger That! Keep up the Great Work, Big Bro!
Reddot name and mounting plate name please again. I brought mine (50 AE) in 2019 and still have not shot it yet. I also own a 45 FNX TACTICAL.
Hey Carlius, thanks for checking out the video. The mounting plate is by EGW and its the Vortex Viper and the RedDot is by ADE model RD3-015 Advanced Optic Zantitium. Both links are in the video header above comments. Thanks!
7 round mag?
Yeah, only 7 rounds and with the rounds being almost $3 dollars a round you donât want to shoot more than that at a time. LOL
