Japan's Most Active Volcano! [Sakurajima 2021]

Join me and Callan on a short adventure around Japan's most active volcano, Sakurajima!
A short ferry ride from Kaoshima in Kyushu Japan, Sakurajima is the most active Volcano in Japan. What was once an island, was connected to the Ōsumi Peninsula in 1914 when lava erupted from the volcano. Rising over 1,100 meters it can be seen throughout Kagoshima, but for the best experience you can cycle or drive around the volcano. Just make sure to check the activity report. Some days are too ashy to visit.
