As a perfect example of differences between individuals I could sit for linework all day but I hate shading. And my ribs almost send me into shock past the 3 hour mark
totally can relate with the pain while shading. my longest session actually was in osaka with horibenny, after 8hrs i just was like pleeease make it stop 😅
That is awesome Horibenny's work is great! I have been by the studio a couple times to check it out. All my tattoos are black and white though, so I am going to stick with that vibe.
I got my inner forearm done a month ago. I go in 9 days to get my outer forearm and a month after that I start on my left arm. I’m getting nervous about my elbow 😂 Love your work!! Also epic that you’re in Japan. I’ve been trying to get over there to stay for a month but Covid disrupted that :/ Hopefully the borders open by the end of the year or early 2022. Subbed!
I found my leg was a lot worse than my arm funny enough. I was expecting elbow to be really painful, but it was manageable. But its different for everyone. Good luck with the tattoo. I hope you make it over to Japan!
I'm getting my first tomorrow! I'm so excited. 🎉 any advice as to shave the night before or not? I've heard it both ways, it's 6" on my upper thigh / hip
I wanted to get a vegeta tattoo myself too man, but I want a sleeve on my arm, i'm a recovering addict (been clean for 6 years now) I was using needles so I don't think I have to worry much about the pain as I've done much worse to myself. Not to mention I was in martial arts for 5 years and have competed in tournaments so getting punched constantly wasn't out of the question, just gotta get some cash for it now.
im terrified of needles too but it seems the atmosphere and setting of a shop is way less scary for me than a doctor's office. i usually just freak myself out. however i don't have a tattoo but i've been in a shop. thinking of WHAT my first tattoo should be is difficult
If I go get a tattoo in Japan, Is the language gonna be a problem? Because I don’t know any Japanese and I don’t know if they will turn me away because of that.
i got my consultation for my first one monday and im just afraid my blood sugar is gonna tank. its happened giving blood twice and occasionally happens at random times. im not diabetic, so not sure what the deal is with that but im sure it will happen.
I always bring snacks to keep my blood sugar up. Depending on were you are getting tattooed it might be hard to eat, but you will have breaks. Most artists I have talked to don't care as long as it isn't something messy like a bag of chips haha. I usually have a protein bar with me and some gatorade.
I have done my whole back and everything went fine until we where going to do the butt crack and the side of the belly, that was not plesant for me, but migth feel diffrent for other people xD
Great video but… when you say a shot given by a nurse is way worse than a tattoo… that’s pretty misleading. First timers are gonna go in expecting that and they will be in a for a painful shock. It’s a few seconds for an injection but hours upon a hours for tats. I think it’s your irrational needle-phobia talking there.
Don’t get the tip thing. Like they are already paid for their job. European way of not needing to tip is way better, it’s like the fact that prices are « all taxes included ». Price is 1$, you’ll pay only 1$.
I don’t understand the tipping aspect, my artist charges 150$ and hr I feel he makes enough off that price where he don’t need a tip. Seeing that ink is what maybe 20$ a tattoo
