Before posting this, I had a conversation with Warstic about our experience - and here's their response. That's how you respond from failure folks 💯
"Many great things started with an epic failure. Ready. Fire. Aim….thats our style. Simple story here. Looks like a heavy percentage of bats the initial production run have this compression and breakage issue. We found out about it about 2 weeks into the release. We have confirmed its only been on 25oz and 26oz bats....not on 27oz and 28oz. So we pulled the 25 and 26's out of inventory. All are being remade bc we have identified what's causing the problem on those sizes. We are replacing any bats with this problem at no charge, free shipping too. Unfortunately we had already sent the bats to the bros upon request. All good in the end bc not only did we fix the issue we got some ideas from this about how to make them better. We don’t quit. #process #longhaul #battle."
Is this there first real entry into composite bats? Isn’t everything else they do alloy?

Great honest review. Awesome response by Warstic and will be on the look out for their future bats. Got my Miken DC-41 Long barrel today and took it to BP and instantly fell in love with it. I think I like it better than my APG2. But both still need to be broken in better. Again, Awesome reviews 🤙🤙

You can ship it back and get a replacement for free if it has some of the Issues like Compression and durability. 25-26oz though I stick 2019 and older Miken worth

My buddy Jeff uses a No Knob bat in the MLB he changed to it in Minor leagues. Said it felt way more comfortable in the hands and no worries about the bat flying out his hands.
Literally not passing out of the wrapper. Lololol. We need a top 5 non testing list going.
It doesn't seem like these would even do well there. Unfortunate, because they look amazing

Hey Will .. if you like that taper bat knob you have to check out Grip-N-Rip LITE Softball Bat Taper. Its a two piece knob taper that goes on before you put on a bat grip. I use them paired with VukGripz bat tape and I freakin love it over any knob grip. It works the same as that taper knob on this Warstick Bonesaber and it don't add that much weight to the end of the bat.
Their baseball bats are fire. Had a buddy get the bone saber and broke it in the first 12 swings

Any update on the replacement or the Warstic in general since this video? Absolutely beautiful bat and a trusted company in baseball. Paired with that handle I hope they figure it out. But honestly I was about to pull the trigger on one before I watched this. (Would be getting a 27oz)
I wonder if they have anybody actually test these that play versus just compression tests. The handle does look amazing especially since I use a taper on almost all my bats part of the reason why I love the Louisville Jenny's this year that triple crown taper they have is awesome. I am a bit upset that my moshburn within 35 hits put a seam in the paint but still seems to hit fine. My red balance is a monster Geny for me this year.

I cant believe how fast they broke. It's crazy. Makes me even happier I bought the db44 when I did. We have over 1500 swacks on it.. no cracks or any kind

@@klubberlang6035 I swung mine at around 28-30 degrees and it didnt break. Webbed up a bit, but the fire flex bats just do that anyway. It was hitting massive bombs when it was that cold. My home runs are usually around 325 330. When it was below 40 this bat was getting me 375 400. It was crazy

After watching your reviews. Im thinking about buying a Louisville slugger genesis. My question is, I'm just playing in a weekend leauge. What would be the best bat for weekend non testing leauge? Still the genesis?
Totally off topic question, have you thought about doing some vids on throwback bats like Miken freak 98’s or the orange and dark grey OG easton salvos like you do on your baseball channel?
When is the SBB bat with that knob coming out?
That is a heck of a way to debut into a new space. Barrel is both stiff and also failing compression. Cracks day 1. Really wanna try that handle
not that uncommon. Most companies first slowpitch bat sucks - the very first issue Juno/Pure/Proton were all pretty bad in my opinion

If you have a Monsta, and use a grip n rip lite with a little thicker grip (1.75 Vulcan on mine) you can kinda make a no knob because Monsta's have a slightly smaller knob, not as good obviously, but closer. At least on my Fallout it is like that, don't know for all their bats.

You gotta get the one piece ruckus. I am huge fan of Louisville all the genesis are above everything else but this bat. Extremely hot out of the wrapper totally different the any of the other ruckus. I am dying to know exit velo and compression and your opinion

I am kinda interested in seeing what the compression is at. If it dropped super fast or only a little bit to break it.
Once bats break they lose all their structural integrity so we wouldn’t be able to test them accurately anyways :/

If I play USSSA casual leagues where they don’t test compression and I’m not too concerned with longevity; mostly looking for something with low compression out of the wrapper, what would your top 3 suggestions be?
Easton Fab4, Easton Fireflex 2, anything with the Easton Fireflex OG tech.
Even the Easton Fireflex 240s or comic series bats would be good

Looks like you guys got lemons. Hopefully and more than likely somebody will see this and reach out, likely send you a second batch bat with the kinks worked out. Remember the APG2’s were cracking at under 30 hits the first round out and now are the best bats out so give them some time.
I have about a dozen of their WS72s for my wood bat league and they’re awesome. Sad to see an epic fail from warstic.

Suncoast ruckus 1 piece review please
Loved the review… I have the balanced and it tested 290- 300 out of the wrapper. After a 100 swings it was around 265. As for durability I haven’t hit the bat below 70 degrees, so there might be something there. Nonetheless best handle/knob in the business, makes the bat fun to swing.
It sounds like they must have a couple batches going around. I’ve heard of two people that had bats test at 300 out of the wrapper. And our tester is right on and both of these weren’t even at 240 lol
You can get the same knob as the war stick just go on the lizard skin site and checkout the flared bat taper
Lizard Skin worked well on my Anderson cause the knob is large. On my Easton, kinda wish I had left the original grip on it, Lizard Skin just didn't cut it.

That’s crazy cause fat guy bp did a review on the white one and it tested 300 out of the wrapper. That’s a huge difference between two bats.

Yeah I just watched it. Something seems off: they could have just simply got a reworked version of the bat from another newer batch potentially. Or there could maybe be an issue with the translation or calibration of that ASA tester.

@@slowpitchbros seen it a lot where companies that move over to slowpitch have a inconsistent batch as well. So some bats might be good. Some might be bad. Happened with Junos when they first came out and seen it a lot with the first 240 line of mikens and worths.

This bring up a really interesting argument. How credible can PSI be? If you take two bats that test at 230 shouldn’t the ball come off the same? So does PSI even really matter? I heard a rumor that certain manufacturers are trying to cheat the testing system by changing the outer coating…
Compression is not the same as coefficient of restitution. Compression will dictate how much the bat or ball will flex during a swing. Coefficient of restitution will dictate how fast it will rebound. That's what the 1.2 bpf standard regulates (i don't say it does it effectively though). So whereas the ball has a set rebound property of

If they’re using the same tech as for baseball then they may be testing the limit of that tech in this space

Just put a rubber taper on the handle and throw some grip tape on it, same thing as the Warstick
From my experience, it’s pretty difficult to replicate that handle perfectly

230 NIW is called cheating by a bat company specially for a 240 bat. Even a 220 bat . 1000% or it’s been sent to you shaved. Bats at 230 are senior sticks. Made that way for 40+ senior players.
