I JUST PUT A MOTOR ON MY KENT.BUT I'M GOING WITH A JACK SHAFT SO I CAN SHIFT GEARS.WE HAVE LOTS OF HILLS.I MAY HAVE TO PLAY WITH DIFFERENT SPROCKETS .I.M WAITING ON A PEDAL SHAFT TO COME IN THE MAIL.I WILL BE INSTALLING A THUMB LEVER FOR THE THROTTLE, AND KEEPING THE ORIGINAL GRIPS ,AND A DOUBLE PULL LEVER FOR THE BRAKES.SHOULD BE A FUN RIDE.

@@PATB-qz7mn I have a bayside, and I had a granite peak bike, two Walmart bikes. The Bayside has a broken seat, the fender fell off, the granite peak bike never shifted properly, the bearing casing in the rear wheel broke while I was riding, and the final huzzah... BOTH pedals fell off and ruined the threads in the process. That was the last Walmart bike I own.
How did you get the shifter down on the handlebars like that ?
