    I just got one of these bikes on clearance at Walmart for 100.00 , and I'm installing a 80 cc engine from Amazon can't wait to ride it

    This is cool. I just got this exact bike for only $124 from Walmart! Its a steal!!
    But the metal rattling on a bumpy road I think I'm gonna take the fenders off, scuff them up and then spray with rubberized paint to dampen vibration noise. For the price the bike was I can afford hella upgrades lol
    I honestly like it better than the 3 speed earth cruisers that sell for like 8-900$

      These are good bikes @ a reasonable price..👍 The flaw I have discovered with the fenders is not so much the fender material it's self but the little fender hanging clip, the factory uses a rivet & theirs's is always loose, I sometime put a little tac weld on it to the fender & that quiets them right up with no future problems. I realize not everyone has a welder so you might be able to use a regular pop rivet that holds it tight...Enjoy your bike.. 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️👍

      Got my Kent for about $117 bucks at my local Wally-Marty. It's a nice bike for the money, despite being Chinese built. I may try to build a sidecar for it as well.

      @@EcoTransGaspoweredBikes Unfortunately yes you are right. NOT EVERYTHING, but a good deal of things. Why though? I will never understand.... Just hope America decides to get back on the playing field and build their own stuff like they did once, I still have that bit of hope that we will, ya know what I'm saying? I don't wanna believe EVERYTHING comes from Dragonland......er...uh China.
      Anyway, the sidecar idea I had was for me to take a garden tractor wagon and just fab it up enough to handle a bike wheel. Might do how the bike community in the Philippines, Thailand and Taiwan build their sidecars, or as they are called "kolong kolongs" over there. And above all, I hope with a little cutting and grinding, I can squeeze a 300-350cc Lifan (of all engine brands 😒) in my bike.

      @@RBLUS_TY In my opinion people these days would rather save money than have a quality piece of equipment..🤷‍♀️ That's why most everything is throw away & get a new one & not so rebuildable like things used to be,you never see anyone getting a car from the salvage yard & taking it home & restoring it anymore it's just use it junk it & buy a new one..😥 I like your side car idea,if you try it I hope it works out..I've seen those too, just remember just because you seen one in a video doesn't mean it worked properly or for a long time🤷‍♀️ most people will tell you these days that everything they touch has worked great,it seems they don't want to admit some things were a failure.The world seems to be lacking in the honesty dept. these days.. Once again I wish you luck in whatever you decide to do.😎🏍.

    Just bought my Kent 2600 from the Wal-Mart in town. Was wondering what's the biggest engine I could fit on it? I wanted to do a 212cc Predator or a 125cc Loncin but wanted to see what you thought about it. My Kent is a 7-Speed.

    • @EcoTransGaspoweredBikes
      @EcoTransGaspoweredBikes  Před 2 lety +3

      I'm sorry to say I can't give you all the answers on this,I know people that put 212 Pred. engines on their bike but they had to do a lot of mods to make it work & after they did it was just too much weight & speed for the bike to handle & they were constantly working on them so over the years I just avoided doing them myself.. I have put 80cc eng. on these bikes so I would assume the 125cc should squeeze in there..If you don't mind me giving you some advice: the bigger engines you go with & the more speed you ride the more you get to buy parts & spend a lot of your time working on your bike,if you just doing it as a hobby & you want to see what you can do with it I say good luck & have fun seeing what you can create..If you want a reliable bike & are going to use it everyday I would stick with an 50cc engine or at the most the 80cc,they are plenty fast enough & you don't have to keep working on it all the time & or buying rims because the wheels aren't designed to go that fast or carry all of that extra weight.I wish you well on whatever you decide to do..👍🚴‍♂️

    I notice your chain pulley is junk, will never last just rattle loose

    • @EcoTransGaspoweredBikes
      @EcoTransGaspoweredBikes  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for the advice, & I 100% agree..If they are used stock they can be a big problem, however a few years back I added a couple of extra features to them & it has since proven to make them a more quality part.. 1st I always put a steel pin through the bracket & the bike frame to ensure it doesn't fall in towards the spokes.( that's mostly caused by poor chain alignment & at some point the chain could ride up on the sprocket teeth & bend it toward the wheel) 2nd: I use slide stops on the pulley to keep if from sliding down , beings every time the bike is started it tries to yank the pulley down the slide adjustment when the chain tensions when the clutch is released. So far these couple little extra steps seem to be working & eliminating those could be annoying & dangerous problems with those tensioners.. If you look close you can see those extra steps on the tensioners on the bikes..Any way thanks for watching & I hope some of this info could help you or someone else in the future.🚴‍♂️
