I’m so upset the show got canceled. They had so many fun ideas for S3, but Disney canned the show all the way back in Season 1(around June of 2022), which is so upsetting.

Yeah, true but also technically not. Moon Girl and Devil Dinasour is still running and it’s pretty good, but it is a marvel property and not entirely an original product. I also haven’t really seen the show beyond the first episode and the hair one, but yeah I get it . Kiff absolutely SUCKS for the first 10 episodes, Hailey’s on it is just a horrible mix of star and Marco like relationship from svtfoe except even more stereotypical and straight and episode plots you would expect to be in mid season 1 of gravity falls, hamster and Gretel has extremely mediocre animation and plots for a show from the same creators of phineas and ferb (and milo murphies law which to be fair suffered the same fate tgamm did but on a cliffhanger instead of an actual ending).
I really thought we might be getting a season 3. It's such a shame this amazing show got canceled, and so early on, too. At least it was a great finale with a satisfying conclusion that completed everyone's arcs. I'll definitely miss this show. I wonder what Disney's next big show will be?

Weirdly enough, this is kind of like a reverse-The Ghost and Mrs Muir (a black-and-white film from the 40s). In that film, a woman discovers the ghost of a sea captain in her house. They fall in love, but the ghost recognizes she can't live her life while she's in love with someone who's dead, so he helps her forget him. When she passes away decades later, she remembers everything and they can now be together for eternity. In a similar sense, Molly (platonically) lets Scratch go to live his life while he still can. How much worse would it have been if he remembered his regrets and couldn't do anything about it? So when Scratch dies for real, I'd like to think he'll remember his time with Molly, and Molly will with any luck still be alive to reunite with him. There's already a hint he remembers *something*, and Geoff even says, "See you in the afterlife". So he knows he'll see Scratch again.
The show was awesome . It had such fun characters, character development, whacky adventures and interesting storylines. It’s such a bummer that it ended but on the bright side at least Scratch got the chance to live his life as a human again. This episode was pretty emotional but I still enjoyed it. I’m gonna miss this show a lot
@@chelsearunyan I feel you but the difference is that I loved Amphibia and The Owl House, I got no problem with those shows. But the show that should’ve been canceled was Bunk’d, cause it literally ran for 7 seasons. And that’s crazy for me to say because I actually liked the show, at least for the first 3 seasons but after that it was just a shell of what it used to be. I know it’s getting canceled now but it should’ve ended a while ago

This was a very bittersweet ending. But I think it made sense. If Scratch remembered everything, it would've been too easy for him to stay in Brighton. (Or at least keep putting it off.) And like Molly told him, it was time to leave. As sad as it was to see him go, at least we know that he and Adia are going to have lots of adventures together.
He might actually Remember down the line. And heck he might’ve kept some memories already since he called Molly “moll” even when she didn’t say her name.

I like the idea of a Dream Team reunion in the ghost world after Molly eventually passes on and joins Scratch. Imagine ghost Molly and Scrtach being a team that brings joy to the living and ghost world for the rest of eternity 👌. For now though, it makes sense Scratch gets to explore the world and live out the rest of his days having fun
Dana Snyder has been killing it: his role as Scratch is done; his return as Master Shake for 5 more episode of ATHF was hilarious; now if he returns in the new Thundermans movie as Dr Colosso, it would be perfect It was quite the short series, and this could have gotten a third season if they change the ghost in the title to a new one, but with the contract with the animation guild coming up for renegotiation and already some animators from Nick doing walkouts, it would be difficult. Gives strong signs of Hailey’s on It with it being done in season 2 as well. Jeff was certainly my favorite side character in the cartoon, and the person behind the voice, Vincent Rodriguez III, is just as ripped as the character (he appeared in that Kenan Thompson sitcom as a guest star, he’s quite the looker) And for Lara Jill Miller (Libby) I got another poem to quote and it’s from Kingdom Hearts CoM so a certain EdDaWiz would get better relation to it in the finale scene: “There is always sleep between part and meet with our usual words on the usual street. So let us part like we always do... And in a world without you I'll dream of you. When I come to, let us meet with our usual words on the usual street.” That whole scene between Todd and Molly was like a real life version of that poem. But then again since you missed the keyblade in that gaming episode you probably forgot about that poem too. Favorite moment in this series would have to be when they were all discussing the possibilities of how Scratch died. I love the dancing werewolves
Honestly I never expected The Ghost And Molly Mcgee to end this way this soon. I always thought that the show would have 3 or 4 seasons and maybe 2 special episodes but I never thought that the season 2 finale would be the series finale entirely as it didn't seem like that type of show that just ends with two seasons with all the storytelling possibilities it had. I guess the reality of it ending hasn't really set in for me. Also, I find how it ended quite symbolic as Scratch and Molly's adventures started when Molly and her family moved to Brighton and now it's ended with Scratch more or less leaving Brighton. Okay, is anybody else deep down expecting some kind of twist that shows this isn't the end too or am I just in denial?

This show was a rollercoaster fill with emotions and fun and Ghosts.Its sad it ended but we can be happy that it happened. Goodbye 'The Ghost And Molly Mecgee' you will be forever be remembered in our hearts 👋🥹
The way that Jinx is defeated and how it also finishes the character arc of the Chen family is great. I still feel like the Chairman was a waste of a character and we don't even know who will become the next Chairman. As for the final episode of season 2, it definitely comes across as a series, but I honestly hope we get to see more from this series. Nice to know Scratch's true self is Todd and that he was a wraith the whole time. It was a heartfelt moment to see Scratch saying goodbye to Molly as he goes back to living his life as Todd. Nice callback to the lucky penny episode, and to finally understand the meaning behind the monkey in a suit that was in Scratch's subconscious.

So comes to an end, another special show. This series was nothing but enhappyifing, even during the more sad and hard moments. It's always hard seeing things we love come to an end, but that is the way of life. Seeing the entire backstory of Scratch, and hearing the speech Molly gave him was beautifully done but also heartbreaking and realistic in terms of the quote "Risks are what make life worth living" end quote. Even if the ending was sad, it was also bittersweet in the way that Scratch now gets to no longer live in as much fear of, well living like he did before. All thanks to Molly and all the adventures he had with her and others along the way, he got to learn how to be brave enough to keep on living, despite being so afraid to live another day and take risks. Also, I'd rate the show at a 9.2 for me, I agree with wishing the Chens had a bit more screentime but other than that it was a pretty good show in my book.
I still can’t believe the show is actually over. To those who thought it was gonna be a Season 3, including me, but now, that’s not gonna happen. That’s crazy, Man. And they had so much planned for the next Season. But you know what they say: it is what it is. Looks like this is definitely the end of a fun era. This show is my favorite and it's heartbreaking to see it end 😢. At least it ended at close leaving no cliffhangers. I have to admit the ending was so beautiful and I love it ❤.
I mean, there was that small cliffhanger about the large corporation that was supposed to come to Brighton and cause people to go there instead of the locally owned shops. But, yeah, I'm fine not having that in there and the ending was amazing.
I'll miss this show so much. 1. 9/10, 2. Scratch, 3. One best friend, 4. the moment where Scratch says: see ya Mol after getting on the bus at the end.
6:33 it's almost like Weirdmageddion all over again for those who remembers the Gravity Falls series finale then you know how it went through with Chaos and it took Grunckle Stan to defeat Bill Chiper with one punch I was hoping the same thing with Molly defeating Jinx with the power of Joyfullness
I think Scratch/Tom did forget, but because he made so many wonderful memories with Molly, they're still inside of him and slowly coming out without him realizing. It will take time, but I believe he memory will come back and he'll reunite with everyone, giving Molly the biggest hug.
This world needs more people like Molly man. She is one of the Disney TVA protagonists I need to thank for making me smile when Anne and Luz were giving me emotional trauma in their respective shows, and I will love Molly for helping me and many others through those days. 🥹
Hi 😎😎 so according to the show writers Twitter, Ollie was going to be Chairman! If they had a season 3, they would’ve explored more with Ollie and his new Chairman status. Honestly, I don’t know how Ollie could be human and also the Chairman of the ghost world, but it would’ve been interesting to see!
Although Scratch is no longer here, remember, precious memories are engraved in hearts, even if we forget them over time or they become blurred, they will not disappear.
More Chens would've been nice. So would some on screen interaction between Andrea and Alina, who we never actually met. But as for this finale on its own, I wouldn't change a thing. It was a perfect ending for the series.
I would have liked a S3 but overall I'm pretty pleased with the experience. Really love the final lesson that ya shouldn't let fear overtake your life. Take chances- may end up enhancing your worldview and grant ya opportunities ya never thought of. Wonderful advice for all ages. I must say I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed the low-stakes nature of this show as a whole. Enjoy climatic battles as much as the next guy but a little girl just trying to improve her drab little town and the folks around her was pretty charming.
This series finale got me teary eyed. Thank you Ghost and Molly Mcgee for being a part of my life over the past couple of years. It was so cool tuning in every Saturday to see what will happen next. Unfortunately, im not getting that anymore 😭

Ever since they introduced the idea of Wraiths, I always suspected if maybe the big twist regarding Scratch’s origin would be that he’s technically not dead and that his body is still living on its own. But did NOT expect this emotional gut-punch for the reason why😢 Now I’m wondering if my theory for Hailey’s On It will end up being true too: The one sending the Chaos-Bots from the future is an evil Future Scott, the same guy that Hailey is friends with and is set up to kiss in her list to complete it WHAT A TWIST!!!!🤯
Interesting and cool vid. I watched the episodes backwards but it still made since. The Ghost of Molly McGee was a great show and will always be remembered and watched by future generations. It reminds me of this quote: “Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened” -Dr Seuss.

Yes, while the show did have a conclusion that ended on a high note. It’s still frustrating to hear how the crew had more episodes on the table but Disney refused to greenlight another season. This has been a problem for quite a long time and persists to this very day because the studio execs don’t believe that narrative programming has their place on TV or even streaming.
While sad, it's also a very joyous moment too! After all, scratch gets a new lease on life and living that Carpe diem and reunited with his childhood friend to boot. What more could a guy ask for?

Nothing got me more than seeing Scratch having to return to his physical body. Feels bittersweet because all the memories he made with Molly as a ghost never happened, yet he probably retains an ounce of it as a very vague memory.
My daughter Isabella loved watching this show ever since she was little, and whenever she saw a ghost figure in the show, she’d always be reminded of the JFK assassination, and she’d yell: “I’ve heard of the 35th American president, and I’d like to say that this reminds me of him”. Also reminds me of Jack blacks: "cosmic I" from psychonauts 2: "senses are the magic keys, they fill the holes I've had, which are never bad" after losing his identity and sense of self, By reentering his body it allowed his memories to return. Even if some memories weren't that great to remember.
Overall, I give the show 9.5. My absolute favs are Molly, Libby, Scratch, Ollie, and June. I have so many favorite episodes, but specifically one of them is 100% Molly McGee.
Disney said that "it's doing good, but not good enough" according to bill motz which is ridiculous of them seeing TV views are 100k per episode but streaming numbers are worth more which SUCKS! but atleast they've gave them a proper ending

it is hard to choose between the 2 main characters i would rate it a 9 it seemed to not have any real bad episodes just a few cringe moments in certain episodes, i t think it came out a the right moment seeing as a lot of shows when it came out were being cancelled or ending and it was the show to pick up the slack for me and now it is has ended as well at least it got one

😔I remember the first night the show first premiered it was October 1, 2021 it still feels like it was yesterday or last night 😢 it really feels like no time is passed the ending sort of feels like gravity falls 😭.
overall I give tgamm a 10/10, it was one of my favorite showa besides amphibia and the owl house my favorite characters are Molly, libby, ollie, june and of course scratch 💜

It’s such a bummer that it ended but on the bright side at least Scratch got the chance to live his life as a human again. This episode was pretty emotional but I still enjoyed it. But the show that should’ve been canceled was Bunk’d, cause it literally ran for 7 seasons. Good plot
This was a very bittersweet ending. But I think it made sense. If Scratch remembered everything, it would've been too easy for him to stay in Brighton. (Or at least keep putting it off.) And like Molly told him, it was time to leave. As sad as it was to see him go, at least we know that he and Adia are going to have lots of adventures together.
Yeah but...was it really worth him forgetting someone else. Why can't he have both?! 😢

I like the idea of a Dream Team reunion in the ghost world after Molly eventually passes on and joins Scratch. For now though, it makes sense Scratch gets to explore the world and live out the rest of his days having fun
Dana Snyder has been killing it: his role as Scratch is done; his return as Master Shake for 5 more episode of ATHF was hilarious; now if he returns in the new Thundermans movie as Dr Colosso, it would be perfect
It was quite the short series, and this could have gotten a third season if they change the ghost in the title to a new one, but with the contract with the animation guild coming up for renegotiation and already some animators from Nick doing walkouts, it would be difficult. Gives strong signs of Hailey’s on It with it being done in season 2 as well.
Jeff was certainly my favorite side character in the cartoon, and the person behind the voice, Vincent Rodriguez III, is just as ripped as the character (he appeared in that Kenan Thompson sitcom as a guest star, he’s quite the looker)
And for Lara Jill Miller (Libby) I got another poem to quote and it’s from Kingdom Hearts CoM so a certain EdDaWiz would get better relation to it in the finale scene:

That whole scene between Todd and Molly was like a real life version of that poem. But then again since you missed the keyblade in that gaming episode you probably forgot about that poem too.
Favorite moment in this series would have to be when they were all discussing the possibilities of how Scratch died. I love the dancing werewolves

Honestly I never expected The Ghost And Molly Mcgee to end this way this soon.
I always thought that the show would have 3 or 4 seasons and maybe 2 special episodes but I never thought that the season 2 finale would be the series finale entirely as it didn't seem like that type of show that just ends with two seasons with all the storytelling possibilities it had.
I guess the reality of it ending hasn't really set in for me.
Also, I find how it ended quite symbolic as Scratch and Molly's adventures started when Molly and her family moved to Brighton and now it's ended with Scratch more or less leaving Brighton.

The way that Jinx is defeated and how it also finishes the character arc of the Chen family is great. I still feel like the Chairman was a waste of a character and we don't even know who will become the next Chairman.
As for the final episode of season 2, it definitely comes across as a series, but I honestly hope we get to see more from this series. Nice to know Scratch's true self is Todd and that he was a wraith the whole time. It was a heartfelt moment to see Scratch saying goodbye to Molly as he goes back to living his life as Todd. Nice callback to the lucky penny episode, and to finally understand the meaning behind the monkey in a suit that was in Scratch's subconscious.
They probably originally planned to have season 3 about the new Chairman before it got canceled
Ollie was supposed to become the chairman. The creators and writers revealed a lot of this storyline after the finale

So comes to an end, another special show. This series was nothing but enhappyifing, even during the more sad and hard moments. It's always hard seeing things we love come to an end, but that is the way of life. Seeing the entire backstory of Scratch, and hearing the speech Molly gave him was beautifully done but also heartbreaking and realistic in terms of the quote "Risks are what make life worth living" end quote. Even if the ending was sad, it was also bittersweet in the way that Scratch now gets to no longer live in as much fear of, well living like he did before. All thanks to Molly and all the adventures he had with her and others along the way, he got to learn how to be brave enough to keep on living, despite being so afraid to live another day and take risks. Also, I'd rate the show at a 9.2 for me, I agree with wishing the Chens had a bit more screentime but other than that it was a pretty good show in my book.

I think Scratch/Tom did forget, but because he made so many wonderful memories with Molly, they're still inside of him and slowly coming out without him realizing. It will take time, but I believe he memory will come back and he'll reunite with everyone, giving Molly the biggest hug.

I would have liked a S3 but overall I'm pretty pleased with the experience. Really love the final lesson that ya shouldn't let fear overtake your life. Take chances- may end up enhancing your worldview and grant ya opportunities ya never thought of. Wonderful advice for all ages. I must say I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed the low-stakes nature of this show as a whole. Enjoy climatic battles as much as the next guy but a little girl just trying to improve her drab little town and the folks around her was pretty charming.
It felt like this show was still only just beginning, but it was an "Enhappifying" experience while it lasted.
This series finale got me teary eyed. Thank you Ghost and Molly Mcgee for being a part of my life over the past couple of years. It was so cool tuning in every Saturday to see what will happen next. Unfortunately, im not getting that anymore 😭

Nothing got me more than seeing Scratch having to return to his physical body. Feels bittersweet because all the memories he made with Molly as a ghost never happened, yet he probably retains an ounce of it as a very vague memory.
My daughter Isabella loved watching this show ever since she was little, and whenever she saw a ghost figure in the show, she’d always be reminded of the JFK assassination, and she’d yell: “I’ve heard of the 35th American president, and I’d like to say that this reminds me of him”. it is hard to choose between the 2 main characters i would rate it a 9 it seemed to not have any real bad episodes just a few cringe moments in certain episodes, i t think it came out a the right moment seeing as a lot of shows when it came out were being cancelled or ending and it was the show to pick up the slack for me and now it is has ended as well at least it got one
