I feel like Molly’s unbreakable friendship with Scratch and her friendly and charismatic personality has made her like Phineas and SpongeBob to me. They are incredibly lovable characters, but you know you’ve f**ked up if you piss any of them off.
The finale was incredible. Molly's ghost powers gave me Super Sonic vibes right here!😄🔥🔥 I even loved the Kung fu Panda reference when she said "boop" and defeated the Chairman just like Po said "Skadoosh" and defeated Tai Lung. Now that all the ghost are free from the Phantom, Chairman has been defeated, and Scratch is back with Molly, things are back to normal. Can't wait to see her test her powers in the next season like Anne did. THE POWER OF JOY COMPELS YOU, MOLLY MCGEE!!!💛💖💛
Fun and intense, just like any finale should be, even if it wasn't as overly dark as other shows. Really loved these episode. Seeing Molly as a ghost was EPIC! 😄

Is anyone gonna talk about the fact that none of the ghosts questioned Molly suddenly being there in ghost form? Not even Scratch? We get a quick explanation for what happened to Molly, but that's it. No "how'd you die?" or anything. Just pure gratefulness that she was there to bring Scratch home. Makes me wonder how common wraiths are in the Mollyverse.
Ghost Molly it's WAY too OP, she one hit KO the final boss, please nerf her, i hope the Chairman it's not dead-dead because it was an interesting character, my prediction it's that the Chairman it's just very weak and now it's going to try to make Molly fall into Despair (Puhuhuhu), i mean, misery, because i think as far as there is misery in the world, the Chairman will never be defeated, just like the Heartless in KH Other posible plot for S2 could be the Ghost Council finding someone who is the exact opposite of Molly, someone who it's only capable of bringing misery to everyone and use him/her to have a revenge against Molly And I wonder if the creators will use again Ghost Molly, she knows how to become a Ghost without dying, maybe Libby could be a ghost for one episode as well, the Wraith concept it’s very interesting for the future Now we only have to wait until S2 or The Owl House S3 are out, in the meanwhile you could watch The Dragon Price or Glitch Techs in case you haven’t watch those shows
I had the exact same reaction to the finale as u did Ed. Molly straight up scadooshed the boss of the ghost world not to mention turned My Little Pony on everyone. She'd go till the ends of the earth and ghost realms for Scratch I know that now. The finale is without a doubt the best episode of the show so far as it should be. I'm gonna miss it till Season 2 happens if indeed ur right.
Perhaps the Council will have the failed phantoms banished from the ghost world a la Zuko. In order to return to their home, they have to capture Scratch and Molly McGee. Only then, can they return with a clean record

And then she DARED them to try and stop her from leaving unscathed. Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to see 'em even try to make the failed phantoms go after her, but the Ghost Council got the message loud and clear: Lay a finger on her or Scratch again? Next time, she'll bring the ENTIRE Council down.
Ik this comment is two months old but I think that molly's character may change in season two to her not being optimistic all the time because there has to be a balance between hope and misery
Some people see the possible "death" of the Chairman as a "bad thing." But my question is....why? WHY would the death of the most cruel and evil being in the Ghost World be a bad thing for ANYBODY?! As revealed in The Jig is Up, the main reason ghosts scare is so the Chairman can (literally) "feed" off the misery of others. Why should so many suffer just so ONE being could be satisfied?
I think the problem is that the people of the Ghost Realm who benefited off the evil system, like the Ghost Council and Jinx, will become larger problems later on and more directly antagonize Molly and co

We also saw how terrified they were about her ability to spread joy AND when she essentially "killed" the Chairman with it. So, even if the Council and Jinx WERE to become a problem, they would still be lightweights compared to Molly's joy

I could not have ended it better, myself. I never understood why the spirit council and the Chairman set out to spread misery. If it's like some kind of cosmic balance thing, they could just beat him by showing him what a messed up place the world is, right now. We're definitely not looking to fill a need when it comes to misery. If anything, the cosmic balance should be looking to fill a need for joy.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Molly is like a big walking, super happy, super positively generator that runs on its own sustainable optimism at maximum capacity or like a neutron star bursting with joy on a molecular level.

Was every ghost expect to scare just to feed the Chairman only thus no real need for ghosts to scare now? What in the Political nature will take over? Thinking of Amphibia and how 1000 years of their system was making them their worst selves till the whole culture got a kick and reboot how long did the Chairman rein that might make a new culture for the ghosts hard to shift. Lastly if Death is dead how will messing with forces such as that effect all in the long and short run?

This was great. Molly is now the most powerful ghost ever. Wonder what will season 2 be now since the chairman is defeated and word will get out in the ghost world about what molly did.
This is why I love the Ghost and Molly Mcgee, it's got potential, it was worth waking up for, it got "The Finesse" not finesse "The Finesse" so far off the chain that you can even see it anymore "Where is it?, I don't know, you tell me, WHERE IS THE CHAIN?!!!!" because that's how good this is. it's got 3 of the 5 favorite things that I find hilarious in a cartoon like 1. characters with a hyperactive, positively perky, optimistic personality like Molly 2. lot of hugging 3. Cartoon girls with big hair like Libby. Molly is one of my favorite characters in the show, so upbeat, perky, positive, and optimistic, she like Sid Chang, Rapunzel, Star Butterfly, and Luz Noceda all together in one character, I can't for season 2, the chairman maybe defeated but there is so much is untold like is the chairman really gone? Why does Molly hate close up stage magic and maple syrup? Will Andrea know about Scratch too? and the icing on the cake is who is Molly's love life going to be? Libby or Andrea? What an awesome finale to a show that just keeps getting better and better! I’ll admit I wasn’t too sure about it when it started, but it’s quickly become one of my favorites. Definitely curious what they’re gonna do next season, maybe more people will learn about Scratch, we might see Jinx and the ghost council again, 🤷♂️
I don’t care if it’s cheesy, I thought Molly’s speech at the end was amazing. Everything about it, the overall message of light over darkness, Ashly Burch’s delivery, fantastic animation, and then she obliterates The Chairman with a “boop”! Very well done👍😎👍
4:59 I had almost the same reaction the first time I saw this scene. 1) Probably 8 out of 10, from what I’ve seen of it. 2) I do not think the Chairman is dead. I think he’s been banished. Or maybe the antagonist of Season Two will be someone from the living world. 4) I also love Molly’s Ghost design and I’m curious to see what she’ll decide to do with her new power as a Wraith.

I'm just wondering who the new main antagonist of the show will be if The Chairman really is gone for good and doesn't get revived or anything else like that? Whatever the case may be, I wouldn't be surprised if McGee and Scratch end up becoming Wanted fugitives In The Ghost World and The Ghost Council plans to get revenge on them for killing The Chairman, freeing all the 'good' ghosts and possibly costing them their control and power over The Ghost World.
I did not see that coming. But one thing still confuses me: I thought Molly’s dad was supposed to be fat, like Homer Simpson. At least, I thought he was fat when I saw the animatic trailer. Did I miss something?
I like the girl ghost and I love her song too. Also I like the ghost that looks like Molly and I like that the plot is making the show having a good change of scenery.

She can be just as intimidating as any other ghost when she’s pushed in the right direction of her limit.
That’s because she was a ghost. It’s hard for humans to scare like ghosts do because they can actually transform into scary things.
I've always said Molly' positive, perky, and optimistic nature would prevail.

This is why I love the Ghost and Molly Mcgee, it's got potential, it was worth waking up for, it got "The Finesse" not finesse "The Finesse" so far off the chain that you can even see it anymore "Where is it?, I don't know, you tell me, WHERE IS THE CHAIN?!!!!" because that's how good this is. it's got 3 of the 5 favorite things that I find hilarious in a cartoon like 1. characters with a hyperactive, positively perky, optimistic personality like Molly 2. lot of hugging 3. Cartoon girls with big hair like Libby. Molly is one of my favorite characters in the show, so upbeat, perky, positive, and optimistic, she like Sid Chang, Rapunzel, Star Butterfly, and Luz Noceda all together in one character, I can't for season 2, the chairman maybe defeated but there is so much is untold like is the chairman really gone? Why does Molly hate close up stage magic and maple syrup? Will Andrea know about Scratch too? and the icing on the cake is who is Molly's love life going to be? Libby or Andrea? I pray to the great entertainers out there, let there be a season 2 of The Ghost and Molly Mcgee.

What an awesome finale to a show that just keeps getting better and better! I’ll admit I wasn’t too sure about it when it started, but it’s quickly become one of my favorites. Definitely curious what they’re gonna do next season, maybe more people will learn about Scratch, we might see Jinx and the ghost council again, 🤷♂️
I don’t care if it’s cheesy, I thought Molly’s speech at the end was amazing. Everything about it, the overall message of light over darkness, Ashly Burch’s delivery, fantastic animation, and then she obliterates The Chairman with a “boop”! Very well done👍😎👍

4:59 I had almost the same reaction the first time I saw this scene. 1) Probably 8 out of 10, from what I’ve seen of it. 2) I do not think the Chairman is dead. I think he’s been banished. Or maybe the antagonist of Season Two will be someone from the living world. 4) I also love Molly’s Ghost design and I’m curious to see what she’ll decide to do with her new power as a Wraith.

I'm just wondering who the new main antagonist of the show will be if The Chairman really is gone for good and doesn't get revived or anything else like that? Whatever the case may be, I wouldn't be surprised if McGee and Scratch end up becoming Wanted fugitives In The Ghost World and The Ghost Council plans to get revenge on them for killing The Chairman, freeing all the 'good' ghosts and possibly costing them their control and power over The Ghost World.
