- A fellow BN20 user asked if I could help out with a file that was not cutting clean. I decided to screen record the process for her. She found it helpful so I thought I would share for those who may need a little help! I was not planning to make a CZcams video so it is not perfect but I wanted to show her how I add cutlines to a lower resolution PNG. I know there are other ways to do this but this is how I figured it out and is easiest for me :)
So amazing thanks for sharing. My mom and me are about to get machine and need all the help this is so helpful 😊such a blessing thanks.
yay! congratulations! it's a great machine
Let's say I wanted to cut the whites of his eyes out (just an example) do we just click that area the same way you did the insides of the letters?
Do we need to do anything special to our files outside of AI before we pull it in? Or if it's an svg are we good to go?
And if we don't like where a cut is, can we move a section of it?
Yes, as long as the design is a vector and you are able to select the shape, you can add a cut line stroke anywhere. For the BN20 you'll have to save as an .EPS. SVGs are super easy to prepare for printing and cutting. Usually PNG files require more work.

with your design program, absolutely!
Can you do a video on cut settings on versaworks? I’m new to the printer and wondering cut settings for siser colorprint pu.
What software are you using. Just thinking of buying the roland cn2-300. I also want to know if you can get a image from Google & import into software. That's what I am used to. I have a silhouette tied of layering.
I use Adobe Illustrator. You'll need to add cut lines to any images/designs prior to printing on the BN20
Do you have a tutorial with all of the steps?
I'll create another video with step by step instructions!
