FYI just bought one and the wind screens for the 36" models will not fit this one. I had to turn them upside down on the sides and cut and modify the rear with drilling holes and putting in rivets. After I figured it out it took minimal time just needs a cut off tool ,drill, and rivet gun
I have last year’s model, which is the same just some minor trim differences! I love it! The side table is nice for small things like oil, some small food items, etc.! I keep a larger table close by also, but I do love my Blackstone!
The prep cart at Lowes is designed to butt up against this unit to offer more space. I think I'll be getting one of those soon to see how that goes. I really like the model overall though. I like the slim hood especially.

One thing to consider is my walk out basement pitches out from the house. I could adjust the gap but I live these around so much, it doesn’t do any good. I think if the location was more level, you’ll see there’s better even gaps.

My experience is also with a culinary series, but the issue was the base was warped enough to make the wheels 1.5inches out of level, and not one panel on the whole thing had proper fitment. The hinges for the lid also get hung up every time and don’t open evenly. I was pretty disappointed with a $900 griddle since that’s certainly a premium over a more standard piece of equipment. I had checked out almost every model at Walmart, Lowe’s, academy, ect, and decided to wait for the model I got because I was not happy with how any of them felt or their construction. I hoped maybe there was a well made model out there.
The side table would be awsome. Love my blackstone but it sure would benefit from that side table
